You can tell if we had a better bench and this team tries, we'd be a top 4 seed but that effort doesn't happen throughout the entire game and some night, it doesn't even last past a quarter.

 

Cp3 and gordon forgot how to shoot this year.

 

This explained everything about what happened to Harden tonight.

 

Good win. Key was definitely the CP3 led rotation with bench players completely destroying Portland.

The starting lineup though was trash though. Every starter on Portland finished with a non-negative +/-. If Portland was coached by MDA they would've won since the starters would be playing 40 mins

 

I noticed his body language was turrible in the last couple of minutes. Like disinterested.

Yup, the good sign is that it looks like he got his FT stroke back. Too many things going wrong with the guy this season, elite FT shooters don’t really get worse due to age

 

Hmm, Im fine with the Iso, I just dont feel Harden is as sharp at it this year, he need to look more favorable match ups and do more Pnr imo.

 

Harden is garbage in garbage time, this isn't new...HE DID THIS LAST YEAR when we won 65 games. But haters are gonna hate.

We are fully aware of how important and talented Harden is. If he is getting criticism it isn't because we hate him. jeez..

 

Especially Gordon. It's killing us this year, because we can't kill teams off when we miss wide open shots. When you miss a couple of shots in a row, it gives the other team confidence to come back and win.

 

Add to the fact that harden kept them in the game in the 3rd. No harden in that 3rd, Portland woulda been leading by 10+

 

It's because we expect a LOT more from him.

 

We're in Year 5 now for Capela and he's still getting outplayed by a 36-year-old. Sad, but thank god we have Nene in games like these.

Why is it so hard to acknowledge his biggest shortcomings? It was at fine display tonight. That’s being shortsighted when u can’t acknowledge it. I never said he wasn’t a top 10 player, probably even top 5-7. But u can be a top player and have issues. The comparison was to other superstars, not some G league player named Daniel house. They aren’t supposed to be in same category. When was the last time a superstar was benched in an elimination game and that’s why his team won? I’ll wait. Harde certainly has the biggest issues of them all, and the whole national media including his own coaches have acknowledged it. So sorry for being shortsighted and stating what really is obvious lol. It is what it is. I know some people here like to go all bat poop when u criticize rockets players. Don’t make sense but I get it
