Road games in the NBA are all about the execution and the team mentality. Winning them consistently is a sign of a really good team. It doesn't surprise me that Dallas is struggling on the road. Two of their most important players, Doncic and Jordan, are new to the team, so naturally they won't have great execution yet.
But they have the best bench in NBA and lots of veterans...one would think they could be better on road than only two wins so far.
It's a bit long, but it has bits from Rockets game. Luka's offensive game broken down by a guy who spent 7 years on different NBA coaching staffs.
Another good breakdown of Doncic's game. This time it's shorter and sweeter. My god Luka is all over the youtube, reddit and twitter. I guess he is popular with media posters because he generates lots of clicks
He gave it to us, he’s a legit player But people shouldn’t root for the Mavericks If they are real rockets fans
You'd think the people that are getting paid the big bucks to recognize talent would be good at their job...
Dirk is an MVP, a Finals MVP, an NBA champion, a 13x All-Star and a TOP10 scorer in the NBA history... I don't know how you can be so sure that Luka will surpass Dirk. Let's see if he can surpass Harden first before he takes on Dirk.
I don't know about Dirk...a really tall order. Luka is all about highlight plays, while Dirk's modus operandi was consistency. Maybe Luka switches to consistency in a few years. Right now though, he is content to be a human highlight reel and the clutchest player in NBA. Not that that's anything wrong with that of course
I wouldn't say that Luka is all about highlights. For a rookie he's been very consistent. And he shares one very important quality with Dirk - they're both very clutch and aren't afraid of the moment.
