I see what you are getting at . But you make it seem like coaching is irrelevant. I agree you aren't gonna win without talent . Does that mean when you do win it's all on the talent ?

The lockerroom not caring isn't the same as losing it.

No, but adjusting the whole system at this point is not something you do on the fly, im just waiting for the trade.

Agreed . Trying a drastic change in the middle of the season is a recipe for even greater disaster . I do think MDA was a little too complacent in training camp and in preseason with "we are gonna play how we played last year "

Could he not see the personnel was different.

Still , there is too little movement. It's not a big change to incorporate more cuts etc .

Yea, I mean weve seen flashes of it with Ennis, this season....so idk, I think Dantoni is gonna tweak the offense more and more as things go on.

Keep in mind the Rockets are one of poorest 4th quarter team in the league. The lack of depth causing a shorter rotation and the Rockets starters playing way more minutes than our opponents starters means that the other teams players are more fresh down the stretch of the game. Need more minutes off the bench at PF and guard positions.

I can't pretend to know exactly what's going on. It's something off the court though. We have way too much talent. Maybe it's mda. Maybe not. But it's something off the court.

The roster just sucks. Put equal amount of blame on Morey and the rest of the FO.

It’s not MDA’s fault that they decided to give terrible effort all buy about 3 games the entire season

Remember when the Astros had so many .200 hitters in the lineup
Luis Valbuena, Chris Carter, Evan Gattis, Colby Rasmus.

The Rockets are going through bad role players who can't produce
P.J. Tucker, Eric Gordon, Brandon Knight, James Ennis, MCW, Nene, Marquesse Chriss

All need to be moved, if there is any Interest in Chris Paul by the Lakers move him at all cost.
Chris Paul money can be saved for paying for better Free Agents, paying also 1st Rd Pick Salary.

    Keepers
    James Harden
    Clint Capela
    Gary Clark
    Daniel House
Zhou Qi - I believe he has talent, just needs to develop strength and be physical in rebounding, low post defense, he has gained strength more than last season

    Needs
3 Small Forwards who can play defense, run a fastbreak layup, shoot a 3 pointer
Bradley Beal, Otto Porter, Kelly Oubre, they might be traded

    Khris Middleton type

    2 Point Guards
Malcolm Brogdon, Kyle Lowry, Goran Dragic those 3 are untradeable, those Types of Point Guards

    2 Stretch Centers
    Myles Turner type
    Skal Labissierre

Hey may have not lost the locker room completely but he has definitely lost alot of this fan base. We obviously know there is something very wrong with this Rockets team. I remember James Harden saying during his MVP interview that he said something along the lines of Houston needing to just keep everyone together. Mda is not a bad coach but the players we have already look exhausted. The question now is have our stars lost faith un Moreys decision making?

Play is very sloppy, not making shots.

I wouldn’t say so, but ironically his lack of creativity on the offensive end is surprising given his reputation. He does not know how to make adjustments in game or big picture (being too predictable on offense)

    ive mentioned it elsewhere...

but here's what i think has happened...

they told Bzdelik that were bringin in Melo... Jeff said screw that i quit (bc of Denver)

MDA wasnt happy about it - but just grumbled to himself... and refused to properly utilize Melo (to the extent of starting MCW over him...)

defense looked so atrocious that DM made a deal to get rid of Melo if Bzdelik came back... (bc MDA didnt have a clue on D)

Melo got kicked to the curb - which pissed off CP3 and Harden...

so now there's a wedge between the coaches and the stars - and the rest of the team is feeling the tension...

All these millionaires need to put on their big boy pants and work it out.... and DM needs to start factoring in chemistry beyond his analytics...

    ...imo... barring a better explanation....

He's sold his soul to Moreyball... this isnt an MDA offense... where's the ball movement? where's the fast pace? where's the quick easy buckets...

Further, where are the adjustments? Where are the timeouts when needed? Where is the utilization of the shot clock based on whether we're up or down...
