    Morey needs to rapidly change directions with this team, and they won't be able to do it with Paul's salary on the books for four years. He will be traded (possibly to New Orleans) in an effort to reset on the fly in hopes to salvage the last few years of Harden's prime.

    Anyone else agree?

    Lol no team will touch that contract for a player who might not be all star level player anymore

    Pelicans will never sign a star player and they need to win or else they'll lose Anthony Davis next season. I can see them making a move for Paul.

    The problem is, if he's performing well then he's tradable. If he's not performing well, he's untradable.

    I just think he shouldn't be ISO'ing anywhere near this much anymore and needs to play at a far higher pace.

    The salaries would match in this case. I'm not saying that would be the trade, but it's possible to center a package around these guys. AAthird team can be added if necessary.

    Lebron would but would the Lakers go for it?

    They have sold their fans for a few years now on the upcoming FA and I think CP3s contract would ruin that.

    I mean they can keep their whole team and add a max contract...it's not a good deal for them at all.
