Alex Smith is done, apparently his broken leg got infected and he's STILL in the hospital from that incident.

 

but is he a passion assassin?

 

I thought he was done when the injury happened. What is he 31? Takes about a year and a half to get back from something like that. Not to mention another 6 months to get back to yourself. He’d be 33 then and not too many would take a flier on him after that much time off at that age.

 

If Nathan Peterman is still getting tryouts, Alex Smith is still gonna garner interest. I'm sure he has a lot to contribute even in a player/coach role.
