Not sure what expect from this. The last version of this was trying so hard, with all the sideline smack talking and all (i.e. He Hate Me) What's gonna make me wanna follow this? That's really all I want to know at this point
I will follow them if they are fun to watch. It would be like a minor league team which feeds the NFL. I would recommend the name STARS.
Well it's football in the off season so there's that. But they will need to put a decent product on the field. Down for someone iconic like the Apollos or Gamblers, like Houston Hurricanes otherwise.
I'll look into Season tickets when they prices are released, 5 games a season shouldn't be bad, i would guess $50/game for a good 50 yard line seat? As long as they don't do any WWE shenanigans, it'll be fine. People don't realize some of the presentations in the current era, XFL started it from the on field camera view to interviews on the sidelines with coaches while in game
I don't think they'd be able to do that. The Adams' family owns the rights to that name and those colors with respect to pro football. I'd be great with Gamblers...though I don't know if I will watch more than even one quarter of XFL football.
It will be awesome for the city of Houston to win two professional gridiron football championships in the same year (XFL and NFL Super Bowl). I’m wondering since the NFL championship is the Super Bowl. What is the XFL championship going to be called?
Call me a football snob, but....as the 4th largest city in the country, I think the XFL is a little beneath us..... I didn't even know it was still around, actually.
I’m very sure either him or Johnny Manziel will be playing for one of the two Texas teams. One in Houston and the other in Dallas. Plus I’m just excited because Houston and Dallas will be in the same division and we get to have a chance to beat them TWICE per season in the XFL league instead of beating them once every four years due to being in different conferences.
