It is a Marathon not a sprint. Too Many "So-Called" Rocket fans are sssooooo negative and weak willed unless the Rockets are blowing everyteam out by 40 . . . .they would still find something to B*tch and Moan about Shoot. . . . Some of them still doubt a 6th Seed could win a championship Rocket River
I mean, it’s easy to call out the pessimists. You call them negative and weak, so-called fans, and if they turn out to be right there are no consequences for you because you’re not going to be called out for being supportive despite being delusional about the season. There is no reason to be anything but down on this team right now. We have a terrible record with losses to what should have been scheduled wins, in a difficult conference, all the while over-relying on an injury prone star, and a huge lack of depth with trade assets that don’t put us above other teams looking to trade. At this point I’m hoping to make the playoffs and it’s not looking good. I think that’s fair. EDIT: I will say this though. I don’t think having a bad season is the end of the world for this team. We will have Harden and Capela in their prime next year, and I don’t think Chris Paul is done (mind you we will have to do a lot of work on our roster to preserve him). It’s not the worst situation when what we have to do is find role players.
Tbf alot of the pessimists(not you of course) are dumb as hell and ultimately dont even have anything substantial to say, it's just complaints based on knee jerk reaction.

I think that we will be fine if Morey can pull off the right moves. If I thought Morey was just going to stand pat, then I may be as pessimistic as many on this board. Basically MCW, Knight, Chriss, and Melo aren’t giving us anything. I don’t know how much Nene has left in the tank and he just returned.To be able to move dead weight for rotational pieces who can actually play, and add depth would be a HUGE boost for this team. It dang near doesn’t matter who we trade for or pick up. We need live bodies. I will hold out hope until the trade deadline. We should have a clear view of what team we will be hopefully taking into the playoffs by then. Give Morey, and yes even Tillman a chance to make it right.
