No, Dallas will likely get less. Corbin was number 1 starter on the market.

NL East sure has been active. Added Donaldson, Segura, Cano, Diaz, Gomes/Suzuki and now Corbin.

With SEA and TEX out of the picture, I could see LAA making a splash. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a serious run at DK, especially with his success at MMP.

    Ehh..

The Angels rotation currently would be:

    Heaney
    Skaggs
    Tropeano
    Ramirez

Angels need more than one starter.

They also need a bunch of bullpen arms. That Pujols contract is killing them.

As Nook mentioned earlier, these “sources” within the industry seem so flukey, especially with the Astros. It’s probably break room talk or something pushed by agents/media, but who knows. Guess we’ll see...any guesses?

The only free agent that would rock the fan base would be Harper.

    I think it’s Harper.

It’s already been reported that Astros are in the running and that Harper has a soft spot for Astros

Looks like it's not Harper which means it's a crock of s***.

Nelson Cruz but I wouldn't consider that rocking the Astros fan base. Maybe Pollock but again not rocking the fan base. I wonder if the Astros passed on Grandal (have to give up a pick because he was qualified) to sign Pollock(didn't want to give up 2 picks???).

Only rocking the fan base would either be Harper or Machado. Maybe Bregman goes to LF(although not sure how good he would be) and the Astros sign Machado. Machado settles for 3B. If Correa is hurt, move him to SS and Bregman to 3B.

But I know that's not happening.

Ben Dubose liked it and said he wouldn't troll.

My sauce told me we are signing Kluber and Snell and signing a second Verlander but also will probably sign Harper and Goldy and likely sign Trout.

    You heard it here first!

With Corbin off the market (Yankees would only go 5 years) the Yankees have been reaching out to Eovaldi. That is the Red Sox, Yankees and Phillies all bidding on him... it is just a guess but I think he will end up outside our price range.

My guess: it’s going to be Goldschmidt and Greinke.

Brantley and Dallas would be about twice the WAR of Harper if that's the riddle's clue.

Signing an impact player, rock Astros fan base ... deal for Goldschmidt, he is a local name, and sign an extension (so not a rental)?

Twice as nice ... Greinke too?
