Disagree all you like. I could care less. The "wall" is an absurdity created out of whole cloth by a corrupt pathological liar who is an on-going disaster for this country. My interest is in seeing a Democrat win in 2020 and I think Beto O'Rourke can do just that. Whether he'll get the nomination or not is something time will tell. He isn't the only possibility. What isn't a possibility is that Hillary Clinton will. She's done, politically. Mr. trump? He's headed for severe trouble. He'll be lucky to get off as easy as Nixon did.
Hillary is just a bad candidate Not in skills of the office. . . but in running a campaign She grabs defeat from the jaws of victory Rocket River
I think at this point only Republicans are secretly wishing Hillary runs again. If any Dems really want her to run then just lol
You mean an unknown liberal challenger (Beto) didn't beat the man that was almost the Republican Presidential nominee (Cruz) in one one of the most conservative states (Texas) when he lost by 2% points? Also, protecting the borders and building a wall are two separate things. Someone can can be against open borders and also be against building a wall. Most people are smart enough to know that most illegal immigrants arrive via plane or visa.
I still don't understand the incessant need to avoid referring to Beto by the name everyone, including his parents, have called him since he was a child.
Because it is something to b**** about...... the problem I had with it during the Senate campaign is that he was running against someone named Rafael that goes by the rather anglo name of "Ted". It is all dumb.
Using his real name shouldn't upset anyone, that's really what I don't understand. Why would his real name cause controversy unless it ruins the image his supporters were going for?
This country needs Joe https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/fi...qualified-person-country-be-president-n943411
in electing Trump, half the American people made a horrible, vindictive and knowingly destructive choice with a multitude of options; some twice in the same year. I don't mind seeing the most experienced executive administrators alive providing an antidote to that.
Funny enough, there's no way to tell if you are talking about those who voted for Clinton or those who voted for Trump based on this statement alone.
Not sure why people care if a man's legal name is used. Robert is a fine name. A name to be proud of. Many great men were named Robert. Robert seems a fine choice as any. No one should care about people using Robert, just like no one should care about Beto. Especially if Robert chooses to use a nickname on the ballot. Right?
Yeah Ted isn't a cool name either. It is a lame choice. Should have chosen a better name. Like Robert.
It remains unfinished. I doubt it will get finished to be honest, mainly because he will blame the dems for blocking it and get reelected to "build the wall." I also doubt it will be effective unless we use an Israeli model.
"Let's create a narrative that says a candidate made up a name to appease a voter demographic" "Let's use his birth name constantly to spam that narrative".
You really think the wall is an important enkigj issientonwin reelection in? I think border secuksec is the most imooimpor issie for like 20% of Americans. 0.1% of whom never had a negative interaction with an illegal immigrant probably.
