I knew there would be a post like this, but still shocking to see it.

If you would like to see another. Check my post of the pic with the dead child, and most likely the child's anguished family in the background.

That was perpetuated by Bush I, BushII, and Obama. Countless people died. And no one gives a fuuuuuuu*k

Yeah I love this sort of fake, pearl-clutching outrage from people who don't hold leaders accountable. They think it is in bad taste to say anything negative because the person died. I wish people could spare even a small percentage of the indignation they pretend to have about criticism of a failed, corrupt, evil person and use it on the things that matter. Such as the actions of the war mongers who profit from the destruction of human life by the perpetuation of a continuous war machine.

Also giving lip service about taxes and then raising them is a criminal lie in my book. Unforgivable as well. Read my lips eh. There is a place for crooks and liars and it isn't heaven.

It is not as if he did not have good qualities. For one he seemed extremely intelligent. To me, he seemed much smarter than his son, Reagan, and Trump.

It is not for me to ultimately say if he will pay for all of the pain that he has caused among Iraqi's. I am not blind to that pain though. Regardless RIP

Why do Republicans seem to constantly increase the deficit?
Every Republican president seems to do this
    and
Every Democrat seems to decrease the deficit

As for 41 . .. he did some bad things (Iraq War)
    He was a one timer . . . .
The weight of time has dulled the sharpness of his faults as president

Because Republicans are fiscally irresponsible too. Also, when you point at "presidents" who increased the deficit, you should really be looking at who controls congress, they are the one's with the power of the purse. There's a reason under Bush 43 the deficit skyrocketed and just kept getting worse till Democrats lost control of congress, then it was more than cut in half.

The president doesn't control the power of the purse, thus you can't credit or blame any president all that much for the deficit unless they control congress too.

You have the fiscally irresponsible Republicans and REALLY fiscally irresponsible Democrats. Sadly, that's not another choice.

Can you imagine Trump getting the pomp of a presidential funeral like this? Marched around with an honor guard, lying in state in the Capitol, being lauded by officials, newspapers, and others for days with wall to wall cable news coverage? At least I expect the news coverage to be the same.

Holy cow, imagine being this irate about taxes. You know, how a government funds itself and provides services and defense. Hell-worthy, indeed.

And...doubles down, with additional! By all means, dachuda86, do please continue.

As a friend of mine keeps saying, in another forum, about people like you: This is who they are. This is what they do. And you make nobody look bad but yourself, and others like you.

Please do continue your circle jerk. I'll send the napkins.

Were you just as indignant when Obama lied about Obamacare? Which was a lot more intentional than what Bush did. If you don't understand the context of that, maybe STFU and get a little more informed.

Further, are you similarly indignant about all the Democrats, including Obama, talking about Bush's civility?
Bush was one of the LEAST evil people on the planet. Only those with your warped minds would utter the comment you did...and then double down on it. All will calling out MY indignation? Priceless.

Is it sexist to say I love watching women bark at each other?

Actually, Obama's lie about Obamacare wasn't as intentional. If you look at the thing posted recently where he was answering questions from the Republican lawmakers, it turns out that it was quite a bit more nuanced and he admitted that he was wrong.

It was 100% intentional and he knew it was a lie when he said it....yet he kept saying it for months. There was no way that a large percent of the population would be able to keep their plan or their doctor after Obamacare was passed and he knew it.....but he knew that if he lied about it, his people would parrot it as the truth for long enough to get the deal passed and then what people said about it wouldn't matter anymore.

Already been discussed and evidence presented. I'm not going to defend Obama's lie because it was wrong. Though the added context of what actually happened was interesting.

If we are talking about the original Gulf War, didn't Iraq invade Kuwait under the apparent pretense that Kuwait was stealing Kuwait's oil?

The UN denounced the invasion and occupation numerous times and then a UN mission (yes with US in the lead) went in with broad support and many countries participating.

Bush Sr. was criticized for the restraint he showed by "not finishing the job" at the time.

I am trying to understand how Bush Sr was a war-monger.

I understand that the blatant and intentional lie was already spun, but I don't buy it because the spin is divorced from reality. When you say "if you like your health plan, you can keep your health plan" while knowing all along that you are going to wipe out a ton of existing health plans, there's no way you aren't blatantly lying.

It's like saying "if you like your car, you can keep your car" while pushing a plan to have every car that gets less than 35 MPG confiscated and destroyed. It would be an outright lie said only to convince people that the plan wouldn't affect them much.

Here's the lie repeated over time, sorry this is indefensible.

    Off topic, but...

Are you guys ever going to get back together and go on tour? I mean, Prophets of Rage is okay, but hearing them try to pull off songs that you originally sang on just isn't the same.
