Too many turnovers and misses on open 3's. Pretty sure our starters + Gordon will be dead by the all star break if Morey doesn't find some help fast.

Did House play at all in the 2nd half? He had a nice 1st half and hit a few threes.

I can't believe Clark and Hartenstein are now getting DNP-CDs. We need bodies and at least both of them can give us energy and hustle. Instead MDA prefers a really old team dying in front of our eyes on a 3rd game in 4 nights situation.

If either player is playing in a meaningful game, you have major problems.

 

Lou Williams is averaging 18 PPG this season.

Montrezl Harrell is averaging 17 PPG this season.

We gave up all that for CP3 who is averaging 10 PPG over the last 3 games. This is why I will continue to call out Chris Paul. You gotta produce.

 

I really think this is more a chemistry issue. It’s like they don’t even want to play with each other anymore. I don’t get how lazy this team looks compared to last year. So uninspired.
Imo I think the Melo signing did a ton of bad to this team but even if we hadn’t sign it would have been bad. Cp3 wanted him here so my guess is he isn’t happy that it didn’t work out. And to me Harden is the one that didn’t wanted to work out. Just like 15/16 there are two groups.

Plus the jimmy trade rumors affected Gordon big time. Then we signed MCW and we playing Hartestein

Capela May get his points but to me most of them are just empty point because he doesn’t do much of the work. Most of it is done by Harden and when he plays like shT he disappears in the score board.
Also I don’t think we should have gave him the second offer and should have kept the initial offer. It got into capelas head that he is crucial to our success but in fact is more of how well Harden and Cp3 play.

I think we over paid Capela and we also overpaid Cp3 as well as Harden. The way he plays sometimes especially this season is so irritating just lazy basketball.

 

Stop making excuses. Chris Paul has to give you at least 18 points a game. I'm blaming the $40-million-a-year guy before anyone else.

Last season I'd be racing home, making no plans but getting in front of the tv with a drink in hand.

Now, just have it playing on my phone at work glancing every now and then. So glad I've freed up a couple of hours of my evening tonight to do something worthwhile.

I just don’t see playoffs. I can’t.
It just wouldn’t make sense. We’re past a quarter of the season and we have losses to the Wizards, the Cavs, the Mavs, the Spurs, the Wolves, the Jazz. Those are the bottom teams.
A team can easily turn it around from our position now. It’s happened many times before. But not with a team with as little depth as we have. If things went perfect for the remainder of the season (CP3 Harden, Capela and EG) don’t miss a game, we’re still looking to be an 8th seed. And we all know games will be missed with this squad.

 

Let's see what excuse the FO comes up with this time. Team close to full strength. Lead by ~20. Lost with no dignity. If such a loss does not wake up the FO, nothing will.

 

Rockets have hurt my feelings. I'm really disappointed. I'm taking a break.
