    That's your solution.

I'm game. But we should note that the Cubs fans tried that strategy with THREE different Wrigley's. And then the Tribune Company, who died in bankruptcy as owners.

Someone needs to start a new thread:

[Calm Down] What else did you expect?

Poor defense? Weak rebounding? Over-reliance on Harden?

... isn't that exactly what we all knew we were getting into here?

James will get great numbers, we'll put up big points, and will be battling it out for one of the last playoff spots. That's who we are. Just sit back and enjoy it, or at least accept it. No need to get too worked up over our potential this year because it ain't that great.

I agree, Haymitch. I've enjoyed watching an offense that is only going to get that much better. Now all we have to do is trade Ariza to ensure our defense is truly terrible. Then we'll be set.

on edit: after the axis of the earth tilted the other night with the Cubs win, there is something strangely reassuring about the fixed, stable things you can count on. Like death, taxes, and the Rockets.

This team is going nowhere until we get someone who can help protecting the paint.

you know, as we sit here at 4-3, and i ponder my current emotional state thereto, i've had time to think of my lack of calmness, my intranquility as it were, in the face of our previous 3-2 record. and the irrationality, the illogicalness of it all occurred to me. the rockets can only be .500 after having played an even number of games. my unbearable lightness of being not calm, unplacid as it were, was unneeded. as the rockets remain one game above or below .500, they are always in reach of that ultimate state of calm we all yearn for. and yet, perturbingly, that ultimate calm remains elusively out of reach until the next game is played. and so i, - we, even - must remain in our limbonic state, waiting.

what does it profit a man to ascertain his natural state, when his surrounding environment is so unnatural? when the number of games played is unnatural, even odd? and so i shall remain, heisenbergian as it were, neither calm nor uncalm. yet always hoping.

but if we go two games over .500, i'll just lose my ****ing mind. that **** ain't right.

@DreamShook take note, this is how you do it. Well done, oh Heisenbergian Fan of Francis, well done. May you be blessed with the calmness that accompanies evenly divisible integers.

If we don’t win at least 2 out of the next 3 then we have every right to have been freaking out all season because it just means our wins are fake or against the worst teams. We should win all 3 but we’re not good enough to do that yet.

I have no idea why I’m still entertained by this thread after all of this time.

I have however learned to “calm down”, after tough losses, or even during losing streaks. I think I owe it to this thread lol.
