Gremlins and Gremlins 2 should be up as one of the best Christmas movie ever... What about Home Alone...
And AstroRocket beat you to it by 45 minutes, LOL http://bbs.clutchfans.com/showpost.php?p=4943084&postcount=13
Billy Ra.... I mean Murphy did NOT wear a Santa suit in the movie. Billy Ray - this man is obviously a lunatic, I'm calling security Winthorpe - First aims a piece of meat at Billy Ray and then a gun Billy Ray - Security? Merry Christmas! Trading places is the greatest holiday movie ever. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and FCOJ FTW!
A Christmas Story is great but I personally enjoy Elf the most. As a matter of fact, I pretty much celebrate all Will Ferrell movies, no matter what the season is.
It's A Wonderful Life? Anyone? The Ref, great flick, been years now. I think it's time to revisit. But National Lampoon's is hard to beat. The Pledge of Allegiance, the SWAT montage with Here Comes Santa Claus. Classic.
You'd be surprise at how ingenious they use the element of Christmas as a plotting device for the movie.. It's as if Mclane is playing the role of Saint jolly nick and Hans and his henchmen are the bad little kids who didn't make the list.. At the end of the movie his giving of gifts was saving the hostage at the Nakatomi plaza..
I am a classics fan... It's a Wonderful Life White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street (the Natalie Wood version)
1. It was released during the summer, not Christmas time. 2. Bruce Willis declares it's not a Christmas movie. But I do plan to watch it this month. A 6th Die Hard movie is in the works, "McClane" https://ew.com/movies/2018/09/03/die-hard-6-title-mcclane/
