    I don’t think we can afford to take Harden out of the game, but if he plays too much he’ll get fatigued and we’ll start getting turnover after turnover and him settling for stepback threes

    Some of it is on the players, but far more of it is on the owner (he is the boss) and the GM.

    Everyone knew the Rockets seriously lacked depth last year and they went into this season with even less depth.

    Everyone knew the Rockets needed a really solid back up point guard capable of starting 20 games so that Paul only had to play 30 minutes and not back to backs. The Morey solution? The same it always has been.... Harden can play the point and play 45 minutes a game when Paul sits. Unacceptable.

    Everyone knew Nene was old and likely to never be counted on again. Yet the Morey solution was to let the Chinese Freak and the German doofus battle it out for back up minutes. Neither are even star G Leaguers.

    Ariza and Moute gone? Let’s not use that MLE, let’s low ball Ennis will a minimum deal for weeks and almost lose him... then add him and some how think he would replace both Moute and Ariza.

    This Rockets bench is the worst I have seen since the Mavericks bench back when Kidd/Mashburn were winning 10-15 games a year.

    Now there were real limitations for Morey this summer. He basically only had the MLE and the minimum. He held on to a big part of the MLE for the buyout market. Has that ever worked? No, not really. Other than not using the full MLE to add a solid bench option this summer, I can’t criticize him that much.

    Where I can rip him a new one is how out of touch he seems to be with his own team. They couldn’t be any more obvious.... they need help.... but nope.... he signs crackhead Danuel House and waits for some magical star to become available.
