Freedom of movement emphasis is not friendly to the defense, but personnel also is a factor. So first the personnel is not as good, then second, you can't bump and push and rough guys up as much anymore, which was a big part of making that defense effective.

 

Agree is like they played better against us they bring their A game.

Also is so annying and infuriating watching us have good defense for 20 or 22 seconds then letting them score easily or not getting a rebound. Then they score. Smh is like this happens every possession.

 

I’d say Harden, Paul, Capela, Gordon, Tucker (bench minutes) and Green (fringe) are nba players. But I’m certainly not defending them.

 

The "3's system" doesn't work when we are behind. The 3's only flow when we are leading and winning. If we are behind, the team force the 3's up and miss. We need another system than an "all 3's system". JMO

 

We need depth, mangs. Like bathypelagic depth levels.

Love Calvin called them out about not taking midrange and just jacking 3s....every time I see Harden or Gordon taking 3s from 5-10 feet behind the line

If the Rockets weren't so focused on getting Carmelo and didn't have him pegged into the rotation, then the team would have looked at other avenues in free agency, and maybe even used the MLE, so the roster would be different. Sadly getting him and it not working out makes it worse than not getting him at all because of missed opportunities.

Except for CC, PJ, EG and Harden, the rest of us are unreliable.

Morey didn't make a single good move this offseason outside of unloading Ryan's contract

 

The bitterness of last season's end increases with each Loss this season.

I'm willing to tank for a draft pick though. A young phenom would help offset Paul's contract.

 

True. For a team that lives and dies by the three, we always had a meh percentage for shooting it.
