Injuries/suspensions would have to continue at the same rate all season(not likely) along with Morey not making any adjustments for our win percentage to stay this way.

 

the Rockets are not a playoff caliber team when one of Harden or CP3 is out, but despite how bad the start to the season has been, we are still 8-4 with both of them in the lineup with wins against Indy 2x, Denver on the road, Lakers on the road, GS @ home, and Detroit @ home

there is no way a team with Harden and CP3 is not making the playoffs, especially when the majority of the WC is made up of teams with mediocre-slightly above average records...this isn’t the West from back in the day when u needed almost 50 wins just to a get a playoff spot

 

Not that we came into the season just hoping to make the playoffs. But I know, that isn't your point. As bad as we've started, we should still make the playoffs.

I look forward to seeing what Morey does to improve our depth. I know he only has so much wiggle room.

 

with our lack of disposable assets, he pretty much has to hit home runs in any trade from here on out
