Because and I will say this again, he is one of the only guys on our squad that can stay in front of his man.
I was very, very impressed with his lateral quickness last night. If he can start nailing some threes and attacking the rim, we might have a decent fit here. A lot of the negatives I saw in SL might be eliminated now that he has to fall in line behind the Alpha.
I actually think his attacking the rim is very good. His 3pt shot is really the only thing in question. Oh really, what were the negatives? So far only thing I see now is the 3 point shot....would also like to see his shot chart.
House could help, but predicting that a G-League pickup isn't going to help isn't really anything wild or requiring any special knowledge. Yea, the most likely outcome is that he won't help, just like the majority of G-League guys teams try, but teams are banking on the small chance that this specific guy they pick up does end up helping.
There's really not much trust to pass around on that bench. If you really watched all the games, MDA has been playing the bench guys a lot more than he ever has.
Ya but he shouldn't have been closing that game. He was in the wrong position on offense like 4 or 5 times down the stretch of that game. At least put Clark out there. He doesn't have any trouble staying in front of his man and he knows where to be at all times on offense.
I get you but As good as Clark has been he's been bricking shots and been kind of a poor ISO defender. I'm thinking Dantoni wanted to give this guy some time to see what he's made of. He's not the reason we lost that game either.
