I think other GMs know Morey very well and have been shielding themselves from Morey's aggressive dealing and wheelin in the last few years.

Morey retweeting this is him making it all about injuries and not the **** bench he left these guys with. Injuries or not we have no bench and our starters have to play 35 min a night. We aren't winning a title this year with the bench we have.

Mckay's logic is flawed. even if paul and james don't miss any more games (unlikely) and we maintain the 8-4 pace for our remaining games, we still only win 51 games. realistically they will miss more games resulting in a 45-50 win season. we are looking at a 15-20 game drop off from 1 year ago. early injuries do not explain that kind of drop.

the explanation is that we only have 5 rotation worthy players on the entire roster. morey will have to turn knight, chriss, and nene into at least 2 rotation players before the deadline and get coach B back on the sidelines so we could have our 7 man WCF rotation back. even then, our best 5 will have played too many minutes in the first half of the season.
