I've seen this guy get hot and provide some instant offense when needed. So, he could add some badly needed depth to the bench.
No. it is really not good for Melo if anyone gets buyout. This move could end Melo's career. Paul and Harden need to take responsibilities on ending Melo's career. Melo made a big mistake by not joining the Lakers or Heat this summer.

I agree with the first one, but not 2nd one. Tilman would have to pay $50+ million luxury taxes if you dealing gordon with 4 future Firsts for someone like Butler. Knight buyout.

House is the worst fit to Gary Clark and Rockets benches. I put Swaggy ahead of House. Gary Clark offensive numbers (3.8 PPG, 3.0 RPG, .333/.293/1.000 shooting) Morey has done nothing big since July 1. MDA is underachieved. Please take these guys out of playoffs rotation - Clark, Ennis and House.
Signing Luc Mbah-m'bout-Done for another year would have been an even faster route to irrelevance. Ariza would have helped but not made them championship-caliber. The decline and fall of Gordon and Paul's off nights due to age & injury are bigger factors. Gordon is playing the same minutes, getting the same looks, and is absolutely awful. You can argue that Gordon just shooting his average gives us 2-3 more wins this season. he's averaging 3 fewer ppg on 26/33% - that's absurdly bad. His October and November are the 2 worst months he has ever had in a Rockets uniform and arguably the worst stretch of his entire career (looks like November 2010 is the only thing that comes close to it)
