Hartenstein is doing something very important - critically important. He's eating up minutes while holding his own - in other words, he's reducing wear and tear on everyone else and might turn himself into a solid rotational player over the course of the year.

    What's not tot like?

You're delusional because you think Justise Winslow is better than Capela or a better fit here.... And he's not even a better fit than Ennis....

Excuse me while I die laughing at the rest of this. Hahaha

Lol, and you call others delusional? I am curious what you chose to pursue in life - you must be the greatest at it in the world.

Ha. We're not good enough to even make the WC Finals right now. He needs to be traded.

I simply believe that Winslow (or possibly another versatile defender that can switch and defend everybody, can handle, and can shoot free throws and another center that can defend as well as Capela (that's alot of guys) and hit his free throws and shoot 3's at a decent percentage and run a pick and roll (even though it won't look as sweet as Capela's PnR) are better for this team right now than Capela.

Your idea of delusional is my upgrade.

Ummm, I wouldn't say I'm the greatest at anything. But I have achieved every goal I set for myself. And I'm happy with my life. And I'm good at everything I set my mind to do directly proportional to how much I study, practice, and work on it.

I don't call others delusional. I call people that call me delusional delusional. They start, I finish.

You said he's better than Capela.. Winslow is a versatile defender sure, but not better than Capela... he's damn near an offensive liability... Not a shooter... Sub par finisher... And not even a good free throw shooter for his position.

I think my anti-Carmelo Crusade was far more rational than the drivel I'm reading here.

I do think the backup C position is an issue come playoff time and do worry about our depth. I would expect Hartenstein to get a lot of rookie calls come playoff time. I don't know the health of Nene or any realistic expectations to have of him should he suit up again, but I do think we need a solid backup in Capela's stead.

That said, I do like Hartenstein's hustle and know he's going to work hard every moment he's out on the court. I do think this is good experience for him to settle and find his role as the season progresses and am pleasantly surprised by his output. He's going to have stinker games where you're gonna scratch your head at his decision making and other times he's going to going to feel like a solid rookie pick up. Hopefully he'll end up more of the latter as he gains more experience this season.

I do think our big 3 are capable of carrying us to #1 or #2 seed again this regular season and at least the WC Finals assuming the Rockets remain healthy. Depth is indeed a big issue for the Rockets at C, PG and SF. I know everyone is pushing for Brandon Knight trades which I fully support and agree with, but assuming he doesn't get traded and comes back healthy, he should be able to log some minutes to keep CP3 fresh and healthy come playoff time.

I think having the best record in the league again is a possibility but I don't want it to be at the expense of having our big 3 healthy and fresh come playoff time. The Warriors are feeling injury woes now as were the Rockets earlier in the season. I think the Rockets can beat anyone on any given night even on the road assuming they remain healthy. A good backup would go a long way at ensuring they remain healthy.

Hartenstein is dorky looking to me, like Motiejunas & Ryan Bowen mixed together. He has bad hands for such an aware player. Though positive things do happen when he's in.

Still I'm actually missing the Tarik Black / Nene even Harrell combo right now. They were talked about as "easily" replaceable parts, but we're seeing thats not quite the case.

Winslow is a better defender than Capela and he's got more offensive tools that are more important to us then rolling to the rim and finishing. He's the better player for us because we would get more winning impact from him and Capela's replacement than from Capela.

No he's not... He's a good defender, but you're overrating him heavily... He's not some Draymond Green... He's not even as good as MKG who also would be a terrible fit.

He's a sub par finisher and not a good shooter at all... Offensive tools SUCH AS? You can't be bad at those two things and think you're gonna be a positive winning impact here.

WINNING IMPACT? Based on what? Winslow has never come close to providing the kind of impact Capela has here and he probably never will in his career.... His offensive deficiencies would negatively impact us and make us easier to defend.

Winslow was pretty mediocre vs the sixers in the offs too...

Capela's fictional replacement being who? It better not be Whiteside.
