People forgot how bad Kyrie's teams played without LeBron. They were bad enough to have the number 1 pick two years in a row.
Still think he’s easily the most overrated player in the league. Not an alpha. I hope Brooklyn and whomever else is banking their future on him can see this.
yeah, he did really said something to that effect, check the thread about nene(point 6) http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...s-wrong-with-nene.294488/page-3#post-12069190 ps perhaps its good that rockets are open minded but one wonders wouldn't it be the smartest to just cut him for good
Thanks for the link. Yeah, not that I doubt cod, but this has a “done deal” vibe to me. Granted, I live across the country and don’t have that local up close perspective that most of you have. I just don’t know what you would do with him. Backup 5? Try that? He can’t guard forwards or switch well, and our defensive numbers were horrific with him at the 4. And all this whining about a defined role and blah blah blah. Dude was getting 29 MPG and the green light to basically be a second EG. I suspect if there was a team willing to offer him anything better, they would have already stepped up and offered to claim him off waivers. That’s probably the main reason he’s still technically on the team. That said, our lack of depth is alarming. There’s no doubt about that.
i imagine he could be useful in certain matchups used in sprinkles say 5-10 mins a game once a week perhaps in the playoffs in the right mathcup
Heh they play better without gayward and drew. Jaylen brown and scarry terry rendered useless with less touches. How dare ainge tried to rob us off of our first round picks for a broken white dude. Parsons and gayward now chilling since they got paid
This is why it was so laughable when the media swore up and down that BOS had the deepest team in the NBA because that was even true statistically. BOS is a team full of young players trying to prove themselves.
celtics should never have let jayson tatum train with kobe in the offseason... tatum doesn’t ever look to pass the ball anymore lol
Heck, players only meeting, coaches only meeting, coaches and players only meeting, coaches, players, and the Boston media only meeting, something. Like Oakland's Wankers (I love calling that team Oakland and hope it irritates any Oakland Wanker fans here), their struggles are one of the surprise stories of the early season. Go figure. Oh, and wrong forum!!
Our GM was once a Celtic, attended a school near Boston. Still got his connections. Fans think we are preying on their players.
