My take away from the games:

*Our Big 3 are back boys!
The Rox were like 50-5 last year when Clint, Cp3 and Harden played together and now its finally looking like the same thing. I think Cp3 and Capela just partied too much during the offseason but now they are both finally in game shape and we are dominating again. I feel like Melo became the scape goat unnecessarily when these two were just out of shape but w/e, time to move on.

    *We need more help
The Rox are too reliant on Harden, Paul and Capela we need other guys to contribute and unfortunately Gordon is the only other guy who can score over 10 pts consistently. Hartenstein, Tucker, Ennis, Green, Clark....these guys will give you just 7 pts a game or less we need another scorer which is why letting Melo go was a huge mistake.

In short while the win is a good sign the Rox are currently just an injury away from collapsing like a stack of cards. Morey needs to do something to add more firepower since he chased out the dude who was supposed to provide that. We have the worst bench in the entire league thats just unacceptable. Maybe BK fixes everything when he comes back healthy but I really doubt it.

They flashed the Chick Fil A thing on the big board 4 times in the 4th quarter after a Pistons player missed the first FT. It was both clownish and hilarious. Twice, Drummond hit the second FT and both times it felt like a dagger hit everyone in the crowd, me included. Very hard to describe the vibe in words.

The moment when Drummond finally missed two with a couple of mins left was priceless.

Regarding the game itself, the Big 3 were absurdly good and Ennis filled in nicely for Tucker.

Gary Clark is a fine story, but the Rockets must add another 3/4 swing player and backup C to the rotation. The chemistry is back but they don't have enough legit good players right now.

Did they ever explain what made Tucker erupt on the ref?

Isn't it good how we just keep on winning and no one is paying any attention to us

When did he become one or when did he start taking them? He probably became one in 15-16, but he didn't start shooting them much until the last half of the 16-17 season.

    Great win.

PJ 2 techs for arguing. Blake Griffin with 5 treys late and 2 TOs.

    Who would ve predicted that?

Overall I thought it would be a 1-1 but it could go 2-0 sweep now.

Hartenstein needs to do an Air Alert program or something, dude just has zero lift

*I'm watching the replay now because I was at work when the game was on

edit: i was expecting bad reffing after reading this thread but this game is infuriating even knowing the result

He is also a decent playmaker, 4.8 assists per game.

Just saw the highlights. Did Blake really hit 5 3’s in the last 5 mins of the game!?!?

The last one was a fadeaway three, I guess Harden was guarding him late.

I'd say for a big he's an excellent playmaker, but that as well as his ball handling have been skills he had quite early and kept improving on, but people didn't credit him for it when they were too focused on calling him just a dunker.

Another fool's gold game here. At home, playing a mediocre team that plays two bigs together. We sneak by them because Drummond missed his free throws. And this game showed how dependent we are on PJ to hold the defense together. Changes are on the way. Because this group ain't even good enough to make the WC Finals.

Two different things. They are Top 5 in the league IMO but the success is hinging on Tucker and Harden's and Paul's health and sanity.

One bigger injury and a whole year is wasted. It's like a glass box and people are throwing rocks at it.

They are good enough but not healthy or young enough IMO.

Anyone else think Capela's gold patch is starting to look pretty damn good?
