No contender is going to trade much for a half season rental with a $15 million dollar contract. He's going to be bought out, or traded to a team looking to dump a longer contract. Maybe the Knicks want to move THJ or Courtney Lee to dump salary for next year? Not sure if the Suns would go for that. I do hope he gets bought out, and then comes back to the Rockets for the minimum. Would be awesome to have him back in the fold.
I can really see the Rockets trading for him. Knight and first. To get out of the extra year of his contract is worth the first rounder in Tillman’s eyes because we would be out of the luxury tax.
That would be cool, but there is no way Suns are going to take another year of Knight's contract for a late first, you would have to add some quality picks or players.
