Very excited for Gary Clark, especially after Bzdelik returns. Great demeanor, great attitude, just barely enough scoring ability to stay on the court and will only get better obviously. It's great that he gets to watch Tucker play, I feel like that blue print will serve him well. Don't want to get too high on the guy so early in the season though. I know he'll have major ups and downs and rookie wall and all that. This team is in desperate need of some young rotation players who are on board with team goals. A real silver lining this season and it's not easy for a rookie to get those compliments from MDA. I feel like he will be this team's starting 4 in the not so distant future. Just sharpen that shot, work on that frame and get some experience guarding NBA players. Will make a great pairing with Capela since he is a natural at help defense.
More fun Gary Clark facts: He is the only rocket with a positive Net Rating (+1.1) He is the only rocket with a defensive rating below 100 (97.5) He's grabbing 7.2 rebounds per 36, which we need as a team that struggles to rebound. For reference, Ariza was at 6.1 for us and Ennis is at 3.1 He has only 1 turnover this entire season Less fun facts: He has the worst offensive rating on the team, only rocket with an offensive rating below 100 (98.6) He is shooting 30% from 3
When he has a couple of those 5-9 from three games like he did in pre-season, this is going to flip around too.
