    Asking Mikey D anything besides offense is pointless.

    Ask him about defense - "i don't know, you'll have to ask jeff"
    Ask him about injuries or fitness - i don't you'll have to ask Keith J"
    Ask him about players - "I don't know, you'll have to ask Daryl"
    Ask him about players not having energy - "I don't know, you'll have to ask the chef Jose"

    Imagine if you will. The Rockets are completely honest and tell it exactly as it is. You think that would be a good thing for anyone?

    Maybe something like: "Carmelo Anthony will not be playing tonight because he is refusing to play behind an unsigned rookie. He's washed up. He's out of shape. He refuses to play defense. The team plays better when he's not on the floor. Honestly, he's only here because Chris Paul wanted him here. He's done with the Rockets. We wish him well, but we really want him gone as soon as possible. Yes, Carmelo is a cancer."

    Is that what you want to hear from the Rockets? The national media would just love a statement like that. Just another reason to hate on the Rockets.

    Melo is sick.

    Sick of going to a new team thinking he's going to be the key that gets them into the finals, only to realize he can't really compete in today's NBA.

    Daryl Morey is actually a medical doctor specializing in the type of illness that Melo has. He's the only one that can diagnose and give a timetable for full recovery.
