One thing I will be looking forward to is how the Marvel execs will commemorate him in the next blockbuster film they create. Will be nice to see him "walk into the sunset" in one of the movies. We'll see how long that takes to get to though.
Time to look at the old comic book collection again ... Underrated bad-ass : Much more than just a comic book nerd : https://www.inverse.com/article/35553-marvel-comics-stan-lee-racism-bigotry-soapbox
I was expecting this any day since he's been sick for the past couple of years. Thank you for everything, Stan!
RIP, Stan. The passing of an American literary giant. You were a huge influence on my life. Excelsior! (I also thought you and Howard Cosel were the same person when I was a kid)
The magic isn't that he was able to write a Spider-Man...the trick was writing Peter Parker...nerdy...vulnerable...but compelled to act. That's the innovation Stan Lee brought to that industry. RIP.
I honestly didn't know who Stan Lee was. When I first heard of this, I thought Stanley from the Office. I also never read a comic growing up or ever watched more than a few minutes of any marvel movie. Not my thing.
