    Risk is too high. If he recovers, it could be great. If he doesn't, we are DONE for years. Chances are, Ainge wouldn't be offering if he were optimistic about recovery this season.

    Don't need him, can't afford him. DO NOT WANT. Wouldn't be prudent. Even if Ainge accepts Knight/Chriss/Zhou/Nene and the 2.5 million Ryno TE, because Knight and Nene might give us something late in this season-- and our window is closing soon.

    IIRC, it's against league rules to combine trade exceptions with players in attempting to increase the salary you're trying to take back.

    Who knows if he can return to his former self. He's been pretty bad this year and has a lot of years/money left on his deal. I'd stay away unless we literally only have to give up scraps.
