It's a shame how things ended with DMo, he'd be perfect in D'Antoni's scheme and he'd be a very solid option at the 4 and 5 if he was still here.That said, it'll never happen. Of all teams he could come back to, the Rockets aren't one of them he'd agree to.
He wasn't a rim protector, but he was a very good positional defender that drew a decent number of charges and would box out for rebounds. Those things are pretty under appreciated so it's easy to miss unlike a spectacular block or whatever.
whats your estimate how much he got and did the rockets pay him or NBA? i guess it must have been something between 5-15 millions because he signed 37 mil contract of which was 10 guaranteed if i am not mistaken (first year)
We have to ask @heypartner ( about amount in settlement ,if any money were paid) he as I remember , dig quiet deep in that debacle. However, in my opinion D-Mo got **** from Rockets.

I just looked at their stats leaders in the Chinese league. It's like a list of NBA dead and missing persons. I had no idea some of those people on there were still playing basketball. lol.
