    Let’s not kid ourselves:
    1. Team was concerned with Melo fitting in and being comfortable and it threw everything off offensively and defensively

    2. Melo has an aura where players give him more credit than he’s due. Never made teammates better. Playoff record history says so

    3. He should earned his way on the court and I’m with MDA, if Clark getting time it’s because it’s earned. Kid playing better all around. It’s not just chucking up shots and being “D” liability.

    4. He’s still got “Me” attitude and not about “Team” I mean our squad was one game away...one game...and you just jumped on and the whole team dynamic went south...even our “D” guru is coming back and I’m sure he was told if you don’t D-up you ain’t playing

Harden has never been as bad as Melo on D.

    That’s lazy narrative driven BS.

Harden is an asset on defense when you implore a switching scheme like Houston does.

For all his faults with off ball defense he’s one of the few guards that can legit switch onto centers and PFs and hold his own for 1-2 seconds allowing the weak side help to come.

Nobody points this out but since harden returned to the lineup were the 6th ranked Defense in that span with dfrtng of 104.

The problem is until last night the offense was absolute garbage.

If we can hit the three at even and avg clip this team will start reeling off wins like last year.

Defense is not the problem the media is so lazy with this take. It’s pretty annoying.

I've pretty much given up on the national media ever fairly covering the Rockets. If they actually bothered to know what they are talking about they'd see that the defense from this year through however many games is roughly the same as it was last year - it's the offense that's gone from best ranked all time to one of the worst in he leagues. Last night was a step in right direction.

No idea what's going on with Melo, but hope they just figure it out soon. Pretty sick of the needless NBA drama. Last night was literally Woj: Vague ass tweet on melo situation
    Stein: melo's gone
Stein: wait rockets say melo's not gone?
woj at 3am: melo definetely gone, waived (*deletes tweet*)

Come to a consensus and tell us wtf is going on

Stephen Jackson and Wade want to talk about the false narratives being played against Melo.

Let’s talk about how we’ve never gotten the benefit of the doubt from the national media.

This is just a continuation of the agenda from BSPN and other outlets that Houston is a horrible place to play and our players are merely pawns in Morey’s game.

Did you really need this to happen to know the Rockets are hated much more lol. Rockets have always been hated more unreasonably than any other basketball team. I don't understand why either. I'm glad Harden doesn't care, because if he wanted to be a media darling, he would if gotten the hell out of here a loooooong time ago.

You're going to have to explain. Rockets have as many former stars around their franchise as the Lakers and Celtics..

Its too early to come to conclusion Melo
Yea it's really easy to sit & make up accusations. But I actually watched the games & can tell you there was nothing major the Rockets did to fit Melo in. He's basically playing the same role Ryan Anderson did outside of a few more post ups. Melo did everything the Rockets asked of him, and the Rockets are pulling the plug too quickly

Does not change the fact that he is washed to the degree of irrelevance.

It's weird that the Rockets are being vilified for Carmelo being washed. Nobody in the organization is saying he is the problem, but the media is saying the Rockets are scapegoating Melo.

Last year the media was pleading for OKC to put him on the bench.. This year it's clutching of the pearls and how could you's.

I still don't see what makes the Rockets unlikable in the eyes of the media and other players. You have players that have been traded that still speak highly of the Rockets organization.

This is a championship attitude. This is Mario Elie, this is Yao Ming, this is Shane Battier.

Melo stepping away from the team right now when we are really struggling shows what kind of a loser he is. Get rid of him. He isn't for the team, he is for Melo. I was hoping he would mature, but it seems he is still acting like a child. Be a ******* professional.
