I mean they actually managed to hit open shots and free throws. But I guess Melo’s responsible for Paul and Gordon’s sub par shooting shooting thus far. Clutchfans sure loves their whipping boys lol.

 

I don't really believe it. But the politicking around the league to protect him from getting cut makes me want to cut him. Maybe he's worth vet min, but he's not worth drama.

 

This is amazing. The media is fawning over Melo.. This is surreal.. 5 months ago they hated him, calling him washed, blaming him for OKC struggles!

Morey did not figure this out when he signed Melo in the off season :

- a team can have a bad defensive player but having two will be a disaster.

The defensive scheme in this team is working around Harden and everyone should go an extra steps to cover his weakness in defense, that's ok because Harden's value on offense is the trade off.

But you can not afford the same thing with Melo, You can not expect the team do the same thing for a washed up Joe Johnson.

When the other team constantly run iso play and they intentionally switched to Melo instead of Harden, that is enough for Morey to pull the plug.

There was a period--maybe a few days--where the media coverage for this team was slightly favorable last year lol

 

Rockets were never any flavor. Even when the Rockets were challenging the GSW media hated it. They almost ignored it until the Rockets forced them to take notice.
