In the end it's either Melo pissed for his role or he has some personal issues off the court, if it's the second i hope it's nothing serious and ends up solving them, if he wants to start or get more shots and similar bs he needs to go.
Yeah i saw he posted that, we'll see i guess, if it's both he still needs to go imo, players who put themselves (for no reason moreover) over the team they're playing with are just not good to have around.
That's probably where the confusion is. My guess is Bzdelik is making that argument that Melo cant help on the defensive side of the ball better than Clark. As Melos offense has been good during the short winning streak you get better balance with the young guy. One thing though this is a matchup league the whole team is out of sorts. I don't think Melo should be waived but the team needs to stick together because injuries can derail a team and its better to have Melo in the rotation some nights and out other nights
Based off the actions I've seen so far, it's being made into a spectacle by the organization. If you're gonna release the man, no need for a press conference saying you're not.
Probably because this is more about allowing Melo to make an informed decision about his role going forward than it is about the Rockets scapegoating him and waiving him as some "punishment" for poor play, as the media would have us believe.
Via ESPN "We've just got to figure out how exactly we want to play defensively," Anthony said after the game. "This team this year is completely, totally different from the team they had last year. "I think we have to focus on the team that we have now and kind of put that behind us of what was going on last year. A lot of guys weren't here last year, so now it's time for us to create our own identity for what this team is and what we're going to be moving forward." http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...s-houston-rockets-defense-carmelo-anthony-nba
I hope whatever it is things can be cleared up quickly between the Rockets and Melo in terms of his role on the team. In the meantime given Green's injury, the Rockets might as well see what Vincent Edwards can do. Gary Clark has had a promising start, one can hope Edwards might do the same. P.J Tucker has been playing some heavy minutes which is concerning.
Well its true. Gary Clark complements our team perfectly. So far has proven himself a team player, a consistent 3 point shooter, HUSTLES, and sound defensive technique/ability
