..what? Father time doesn't work like that. You're not a superstar in June but trash in November. He's injured and the entire team is cold, not just him. He'll be fine.
I'm in the camp the hamstring is not in the back of the mind but the very forefront. Obviously not comparing a 30 year old casual basketballer to an elite NBA player with all the medical attention in the world. But a Grade Two strain of my calf had me aggravating the injury again after I tried to run after 11 (eleven) weeks. I have no idea how Harden only missed two games with a strained hamstring.
He was missing those before the hamstring injury too. He's been around 54% at the rim this year (64%ish for career)
For a normal person, you have to take a long time of rest and let it heal fully. Obviously they dun want to tank completely so they let him play through it.
Since he’s been back, I’ve noticed that Harden has been extending his arm a bit more on his layups. With the hammy injury, he doesn’t have the same explosion and needs to alter his shot a little to avoid getting blocked. Think this is throwing off his rhythm a bit, which is why his finishing at a lower clip at the rim.
That's what I keeping seeing and now settling for 3's . Unsure if he just doesn't trust it or if he reaggviated it or if it has healed yet what ever it is its troublesome
Let him sit. This roster was not prepared for the season, no reason we should risk our greatest asset for this screw up in preparation.
What I'm seeing is a wildly inflated overreaction to a tough start to the season. Some of you are saying, "Blow it up! Let's tank!" Some are saying, "He's declining at 29 and he's drunk." Both reactions are ridiculous, in my opinion. Harden's coming back from an injury, and probably sooner than he ought to. The rest of our difficulties have more to do with getting the team all on the same page, in my opinion, something that clearly has a quite a ways to go. That, and the roster still needs some work.
