awesome! Saric is decent, Convington too. That’s a solid return, but knowing this, Gordon was already too much to offer.

Saric was runner up ROYear when Ben Simmons was injured the 1st season. Always wished the Rockets could acquire him

Low level first round draft picks up to 7 years in the future while they are building now around KAT and Wiggins? Hell yes useful known role players are better. The 3 players they got are a combined 30 pts per game and fill all sorts of different roles for a team trying to win now. Two of them were lottery picks, which means they are likely better than anything they would have gotten from picks in the bottom of the 1st round down the line in the future.

 

I'm still wrapping my brain around this.

First impression: The EC is now a big 4, with the Sixers being added to the Raptors, Bucks and Celts.

Sixers depth could become an issue because Covington and Saric played 64 mins/game. Now they only have 6 players on their roster worth a dime. However, Butler will be more efficient on offense than either guy, especially being able to play off Simmons and Embiid.

Butler will cause an attitude change because both Saric and Covington are passive personalities. Those two guys are in the mold of Wiggins and KAT, which Thibs will love.

Sixers made out like royal bandits. If Elton Brand was the reason this closed, what a great start for him.

Great news for the Sixers and the East.

 

After this trade, this might be the first year since the mid-to-late 90s where the Eastern Conference is actually decent.

 

Well, a few media types had said watch for Philly to make a move and they did. Really wanted Jimmy back home, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. DM has to be working another angle or 10. Let's see what's next, doubt we'll stand pat.

 

76ers have no depth and 3pt shooting. They should try to get Korver.

 

It's so stupid to cut out trading with half of the teams in the NBA because they share the same conference with you.

Hard to believe this is the best they could have gotten for Butler.

 

Good now that's out of way they can relax and play some ball.

 

Joel must be out of his mind, trusting his process for so long.

 

Man I wish they would have reffed Yao the way they do Embiid. I always get so salty watching Embiid get every touch foul and Yao would get roughed up for free every game.
