Maybe we have it all completly wrong....

    From the View's Sunny Hostin

"For me, when I saw that, I mean — I learned very early on that what I saw was battery — not by Jim Acosta, but by the young White House aid,” Hostin insisted to her co-hosts on Thursday.

“When you are holding something … and you snatch this from me, this cup is now an extension of me, and that means you’ve battered me. You’ve assaulted me.”

Interesting. I know that some of the other websites, like MSNBC and CNN, had been fluctuated up with their constant Trump bashing. But I hadn't checked in a while, and Trump's approval ratings had gone up considerably. While I understood the market forces driving that, I always felt it was bad journalism, and likely to end badly for them. Even Jon Stewart, noted liberal although one I always respected, indicated this war the MSM has with Trump is a war they aren't going to win. One big reason for that is that Trump is correct in calling out their bias...which seems to just make them even more biased. The more they do it, the more clearly biased they are perceived to be (correctly). Which seems to make them even more biased, and the circle continues. Eventually it tightens around their neck.

Ok, I would probably agree with that. Going to get it was fine, and her job. When it got to where she had to reach across him and grab it, even if that is her job...isn't her job. Trump could have helped, either indicating to her to wait, or by telling Acosta to pass the mic along. She kept looking at him, I don't know if he was giving head or eye signals to proceed.

Now, why would you jump to that? Other than this is exactly the type of thinking that typifies the left, and how they react to things. So I guess I just answered my own question....

Allegedly it was consensual p***y grabbing and in some cases the right to grab p***y was purchased. Just setting the record straight.

They probably did, but limited number. Likely one for who is speaking, and one for the next guy. But, to your point, we had a group meeting at work that had mics, and we had 2 or 3. You would think maybe the US government could afford a couple more.

The flip side of that is ... if you just move on to the next person, how do you keep whoever still has the mic from continuing to talk?

The reality, though, is this is pretty unprecedented. I can't recall a similar incident before...can anyone else?

Seriously? (Not directed at you but the quote). No one committed assault. I thought the reporter was rude and dismissive. I get that the press should be rude. And intrusive. But I thought the treatment of the intern was off, but who knows how it feels in the heat of the moment.

Nope. But I bet someone can find one if we say definitively no.

No, your defending Acosta makes you look ridiculous. An intern isn't going to try to grab a microphone she isn't supposed to. If that had been the case, she would have lost her job rather than Acosta losing his press pass.

And what does it say about Acosta, in your version, that he got into a power struggle with an intern? And that he apparently lost?

Possibly...most things have happened somewhere before. But it is a pretty clear indicator that Acosta went there with a purpose, and just asking questions wasn't the purpose. If anyone found any similar incident (from press on either side), I'd say the same thing'.

I disagree, I love laying my hands on a woman. Unlike Trump, I like to do it when they consent.

When was it alleged that he touched a woman without consent?
