Obviously the guy disrespected the intern because he is a woman hating bigot. Hard to think cnn would hire a man who has a problem with female authority.

No, my point is neither you nor I know what her instructions were. She is just an intern and her job is likely to do what she is told. If you somehow have better factual info, great, share it. But blaming her and then pointing out she is just an intern seems incongruous.

Notice how nobody's talking about the election anymore?

Trump picks a fight, all the good little internet warriors line up in a row behind him, and nobody's mopey about the midterms anymore.

    Outrage "trumps" existential angst.

The way Trump keeps you from feeling all emo about your shitty life and the shittier life waiting for your children is by giving you a rolling cavalcade of people to hate.

Much easier than trying to fix anything.

Yeah except the president runs the conference... you should have some manners and common sense or expect the boot. Dude is secretly happy because now people know his name. Before that only cnn's 12 or so viewers knew him.

From what I understand, their ratings are way down.

I'm not disputing she supposed to forcefully remove the mic. She shouldn't have tried is what I'm saying. Instead we get mistake followed by mistake followed by more mistakes by everyone involved.

Good lord man, she's an educated, smart woman, intern not an automaton or bimbo. You think so little of women interns or something?

Did anyone view the actual, undoctored video of the action?

If so, did you notice the intern's facial expressions and the way she was looking toward the back as if verifying instructions before moving on Acosta?

I find this post intriguing, and am curious to explore the state of mind underlying it.

Set aside "politician" for a moment. Can you think of an honest person? Do you live in a binary world? Or can you recognize a range of gradation? Or is this just how you choose to represent adoption of an all-encompassing skepticism rather than a practice of critical evaluation on a case-by-case basis?

If you mean widely recognizable as generally honest, then I can think of a large number that qualify.

It's the go to line of any Trump apologist who attempts to defend his unprecidented rate of blatant lying.

Also another crazy defense is that since his lies are so blatantly obvious, Trump is more transparent.

Trump job is to be an unprofessional ass? Is that a joke or are you serious?

For what's its worth, I wasn't clear. When I said he didn't do anything wrong, I'm referring to the allegation that he touched the women. That was the reason given for suspending him. Of course that's a lie that we can all now clearly see with the video.

Now, for his behaviors, however you or I view it, it's a judgement call. I see nothing wrong. He was insistent on asking questions, a job of people who ask questions. The WH didn't even use that as reason for suspending him. If they did, it's would be clear that they are suppressing the press they do not like. They know that thus they choose another reason and got caught in the lie.

It's a nice saying, but the office of the President of the United States still deserves respect, even if you don't like who's running the show. I think Acosta crossed the line when he refused to allow the conference to continue and stood back up to interrupt the President again. I don't know why we can't just leave it at that -- he was out of line and he gets a timeout. Eight pages later and people are still dissecting the "intern incident"? Give me a break.

Also LOL @ people crying about CNN while tuning into the same thing, Fox News.
