While I was tempted to post an eye rolling gif, I do completely agree with the second part. But as someone that has attended lots of events with Q&A sessions, interns and temp employees are often used to run microphones through the crowd. I don't know if this intern was instructed to yank the mic from Acosta, or if she did it using her own inexperienced and poor judgement. But that should never be done.

He should have lost his pass for being a belligerent fool. He was an invited guest. Now he is uninvited.

Go on over and try to go into any room you want. You can use your key. Let us know how that works out for you. Just tell anyone there that you are part owner of the white house.

Oh....and if you get stopped for speeding...make sure you tell the officer that you pay his salary.

Why the *ell should any reporter have to shower him with praise before asking a question that is just crazy to do.

When did Acosta break the law? You suck at building straw men.

HAHAHA this is amazing, and this thread has gone almost exactly as expected.

100% genuine questions; is anyone defending the White House's actions simply ignorant to their blatant hypocrisy, does it go completely over your head? Or do you identify it, and simply not care? There is not a right or wrong answer, I am just curious.

The irony/hypocrisy/stupidity of anyone defending Trump, trying to cry women's rights? Hahaha are y'all serious? C'mon guys, let's get it together. You can't make up this stuff if you tried.

And then to compound that with the irony/hypocrisy/stupidity of the White House, who falsely cry "fake news" all the time, to actually distribute fake news to try and justify their clear incompetence? Simply amazing folks, if we weren't talking about the Presidency of our great country, this would be so funny and entertaining.

I'd like to think and hope that we can do better, but it is painfully obvious that we cannot. Good luck everyone, I wish the best for all of us!

"For compelling reasons..." They should send it to the supreme court.

Law professor Ann Althouse draws attention to the previous case of Corey Lewandoski being charged with assault for touching Michelle Fields:

    https://althouse.blogspot.com/2018/11/jim-acosta-is-rude-terrible-person-and.html

    excerpt:

What do you think of the physical move? It made me think of the time Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was charged with battery for grabbing Michelle Fields (a reporter):

At the time, WaPo ran an article, "Corey Lewandowski lied about Michelle Fields. That should matter to Donald Trump. It won’t."

Quoted at that link, Donald Trump: "Wow, Corey Lewandowski, my campaign manager and a very decent man, was just charged with assaulting a reporter. Look at tapes-nothing there!"

Either both instances of battery matter or neither does. Pick one.
