I sincerely hope the Wolves get nothing for Jimmy Butler. They are being completely ridiculous in their demands which would only require them sending out a guy who is most likely a rental for a half season. I see why the Wolves are one of the most consistently inept organizations in basketball.
Dude should have proofed his article before it went out. "Dieng signed a 4 year $160,000,000 extension...." Take off the "1" in front of the "6" and the amount becomes only egregious as opposed to "come on, dude".
When I see it typed out fully like that, it really makes these NBA salaries seem insane. IE Russell Westbrook's contract of $ 205,000,000.
Yes, there is an Otto Porter fan club. @steddinotayto & @justtxyank lead it up. Ask them how you can join.
Porter's contract is way too big for Tilman. I 'm really hating to include EG for Butler...but we might have to...and I hate it. I'm still leaning more towards the side of upgrading elsewhere.
Go for Otto porter instead. Knight/Chriss/Nene/1st rd/2nd rd pick http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y9hg8qey
Otto Porter only makes sense if you want a better (and much more expensive) version of Ariza. If you’re looking for somebody of JB’s caliber - elite two-way player, occasional go-to-scorer - that is 100% not Porter’s game. I suspect, in order to beat this potentially upgraded version of GSW, we need more of the latter than the former.
So you don't discriminate against gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, stupidity, or burner accounts?
what has otto shown to be worth anywhere near that much ? that deal is almost as bad as andersens. he is not even close to an all-star. he is young so sure he could improve, but im really not seeing anything to say he will. at this point he should be producing a lot more if he was capable of going to a higher level. if we make that move we are STUCK with that contract. do you really want that much money tied up in porter and capela? neither of which is an all-star caliber player ? terrible move IMO
I would hope the Lakers attach 4 first round draft picks if Ingram is the player going out. I can't be the only one who has him right up near the top of the most overrated players in the league list.
