Wow at the beginning of their carriers, markieff looks like a season vet while marcus started slow with us.

Now fastfoward to today, it seems like markieff been a bona fide scrub with the wizards, while marcus blossoming with the celtics.

Hmm I wonder if playing with the celtics have to do with it.

Part of Marcus's problem was that Mchale was a crappy coach. Mchale fell in love with Chandler Parsons and felt the need to dump on Morris every chance he got, not realizing he could have played & developed both. But Morris is now a better player than Parsons and Mchale is out of coaching. But Mchale is an NBA good ole boy who will get another chance as a TV guy, coach, GM or Team President no matter how bad he screwed up the last job. He's a made man in the NBA.

No Morris was just straight up bad when he came here. Didn't know how to do anything, can't even make a jump shot.

Took him a couple of seasons to figure out what his role was.

Plus thenleague has changed. We didn't like tweeners back then, but now it's all about having stretch 4's that can guard smaller players.
