Houston is diverse and Beto won Houston. He also won Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin.

That's the reason I think Beto would be such an attractive national candidate. Texas is just too tough, no matter how appealing one may be. Anybody else would be losing by 15-20 percentage points. Cruz may be disliked and a SOB, but he is the GOP's SOB. It's like we can talk bad about the Rockets cause we are fans, but if ESPN does it, then it will be hell to pay.

It’s sad Texas keeps electing a dude that when McDonald’s asks him if he meant American or Canadian bacon on his McGriddle he has to think about it for a second.

I understand that's your opinion. In what way were they attempting to elect him? Which caused them to lose tonight.

This will be much closer than I thought. Kudos to Beto. He will win a moral victory in that regard.

Probably a reference to Silicon Valley money pouring in for Beto.

Yup. Feel free to set up shop in any of the number of counties that Ted Cruz won. There’s a bunch!

Silicon Valley is awesome. Tech is awesome. It’s the industry that has allowed me to triple income over the last 3 years.

Because it’s creating new billionaires while people stuck in old industries are falling behind? Cry me a River.

Because they control communication and information while having politicians in their pockets. They've become much more powerful than our own government.
