Pretty much a slaughter from start to finish, the Hustle made a big run at the very end to get it mildly respectable but it was a 30 point game deep into the 3rd early 4th. Daniel House continues to do his thing though I really don't like the shot selection, seems like a AAAA player, unfortunately. But he did lead the team with +23 in a 20/6/3 performance. Zhou Qi looked quite impressive as finally being able to play center on the Vipers (he was mostly the 4 last year.) as he beasted an easily game-high 16 rebounds (6 offensive.), 12 points on 10 shots and even a team-high 3 assists and 3 blocks for +16. The rebounding looked quite legit this game as there were quite a few plays where he clearly just looked way bigger than everyone else and lots of shots / drives where he clearly greatly altered the shot or they never really even got it off enough. helped that the only Hustle big his size (Daoral Moore) sucked and was in foul trouble. Among the other guys ex-LSU player Brandon Sampson stood out quite a bit with team high 27 points on just 18 shots with 6 rebound. He was really on fire and if he can keep hitting 3s like that there might be something there, of course he was also a 3 year player in college and no younger than most of the guys on the court. but certainly worth keeping an eye on if his shot improvement is real and the faster pace opened up his game more than in LSU. Bruno was a 12-10 and looked pretty decent as well.
