    Oh you think that if they could have covered it up they wouldn’t have? Disgraceful attempt at downplaying by both Clinton and Obama. Also a note of interest most Dems walked out on the mother of one of the heroes before her testimony to congress.

    That article makes the same bogus claim that when they mentioned the words "conspiracy theory" that they were claiming it didn't happen. That was not the case.

    Obama was calling the conspiracy theories directed at him about Benghazi conspiracy theories. He was correct. He never once called the Benghazi attack a conspiracy theory.

    Obama calls not being ready for the aftermath in Libya his biggest regret as President.

    There were numerous congressional investigations and reports into Benghazi. None of them found ill intent from Obama or his administration. Any mistakes were bureaucratic ones. Those were by Republican-led congressional investigations.

    So you think Obama denying criminal negligence of a CIA annex and embassy attack is equivalent of stating that the Newton's shooting was a false flag operation?

    BTW, the GOP who's rallies regularly chant "lock her up!" control ALL sectors of federal government. They can create a special counsel ANY TIME with no roadblocks to do a criminal investigation of Benghazi. Trump can urge Sessions to do so. The GOP majority conducted multiple Congressional investigations on Benghazi. Nothing... NO criminal charges were recommend. ZERO indictments.

    All branches of government are controlled by the GOP and it is the GOP president that has a special counsel that is investigating him. That is how stupid Donald Trump is.

    Have you served a direct combat mos in the US military? I have. I can tell you that the vast majority of direct combat occupations in the US military whether it be it the Marine Corps or US Army is heavily slanted right and the vast majority absolutely despised Obama the second he was inaugurated.

    He isn't an objective source. He hated Obama before and now claims that Obama was covering up Benghazi and purposefully let those lives die.

    Do you do the same with Presidents like Reagan that had 230 US Marines killed in the Beruit, Lebenon embassy attack under his watch or all the multiple embassy attacks under Bush W?

    The GOP and its supporters are a shameless embarrassment that trots out baseless conspiracy theories, alternative facts (ie lies), and false equivalency to try to make themselves feel better about what a shameless embarrassment they've become in this country. Revolting really.

    Do you not agree that the examples I posted are horrible and contribute to the civil unrest in the country? I’ve said many times that Trump is a jackass and should stop tweeting. I’ve said many times that I wish he wasn’t so decisive because I know he is.

    But when I point out the horrible divisive rhetoric from the left, all I here from Democrats is them trying to justify those videos. You have Don Lemon openly defending Antifa and now he is openly calling white men evil. Is that type of rhetoric ok with you? It’s not ok with me from either side.



    Videos like that are not only devisive but are disingenuous. Additionally he ignores violence from the left. I posted videos in the OP of the attempted murder of Steve Scalese and other Republican Senators by left wing activists. Just a few weeks ago the an RNC headquarter building in Florida was shot up. Have we forgotten about Micah Xavier Johnson? I could go on and on.

    I created this thread as an experiment to see who would condemn those videos in the OP as evil, which they were, and who would defend them.

    If we want to see a de-escalation in civil unrest and politically motivated hate crimes then we all need to denounce those acts regardless of which political party the attacker tries to align him or herself against.

    When both sides are spewing politicly motivated rhetoric but only one side is getting called out for it while the other side is being defended by the media, it makes things more decisive not less.

    What did Don Lemon do that was wrong? I don't care for Lemon, but I didn't see anything wrong with what he said. Is what he said false? I honestly don't understand what the problem was with that.
