Here's my answer:

 

Is it weird that we have a HOF PG and no one wants to give him the benefit of the doubt? Like its really, weird. Yall talk about Durant but if I were him I would never want to be loyal to you guys LOOOL.

But also I wouldnt join GS..so eeeeeh.

 

Harden is the mvp and top 3 offensive player who gets murderd here every year so a inferior player like Paul ain’t off limit to criticism

 

But...like its not even criticism, its like "Man we made a huge mistake paying him that much" "Lets trade him now while we can" all this other dumb crap. Oh well, I guess I should just expect it instead of complaining about it.

The b****ing never stops here i suppose.

 

The irony of other teams hitting again 120-130+ with ease in a season where genius MDA after a season where we were off the charts now cannot even reach 90 is just priceless. Glad this is happening, maybe now Tilman and Morey will learn chemistry really matters and the latter let his dream of Melo cloud his mind.

 

Portland buddy could not believe how bad the Rockets are. Said they just quit. And then he laughed.

I felt like we came out aggresive and played great D in the 1st part of the game. But shooting slump just killed our momentum. Our offense look like we wasnt even preparing for the season, first few games it was free roaming and now that MDA injected couple of plays in 2 days of training they don't look fluid/automatic

 

The defensive effort was better but there was no energy on Offense.

One way or the other with this team.

I think it’s because for a lot of folks (including myself sometimes lol) Rockets basketball is an escape from day-to-day life so we want the team to make our day better, not worse. That would explain why some are so harsh and knee-jerky: because people feel like it’s the team’s obligation to provide us with entertainment and victories in exchange for fan loyalty and support.

That’s just my very uneducated observation though. Honestly, Rockets fans are definitely spoiled compared to, say, Grizzlies fans or Hawks fans or most other teams

 

We’re 1-5 while the kings are 5-3.

This is the darkest timeline

 

And we've had a pretty soft schedule thus far. Only one B2B, we've played the Clippers twice and the Lakers once and had 4 home games. Think of all the actual contenders and solid playoff teams the Rockets still have to face(including the Warriors 4 times).

People keep referencing the 2015-16 squad, but that team was 3-3 after 6 games. We aren't even at that level right now and that group wound up finishing with a .500 record.

lol he is really set in his ways, what happened with the melo that apologized for a midrange he hit... was that sarcastic apology?

i would understand the insistence if he could hit the midrange .. but he cant lololo... much better things happen when he is in the post or driving...

 

A lot or criticism against Melo, but his shooting percentages are higher than EG and Paul. I think there is plenty of blame to spread around for this lack of preparation and chemistry, and Melo isn't the cause. Too many missed layups and sloppy ball handling. I am beginning to think Clint needs sticky gloves with his butter hands, and his FT percentage is ridiculous this year for the money he is being paid.

Right now this team is not even fun to watch. Right now Tucker is the only starter who is playing consistently good in my eyes, with Harden out. I turned it off at halftime and wondered why I even bothered.

 

He is not playing up to that contract so of course he's going to get blasted. My thing is why do you get into your feelings when someone criticizes either one of these players. It's like you want every fan to be a Super Fan just like you. Right now with Harden down Paul the $40 million dollar guy should be drop 30+ pts with at least 10 dimes.

 

Two things:

1) I never thought we'd have a year that tops 15-16 in the shocking and disappointment factor so soon.

2) Hope y'all enjoyed last year, because that may have been our last "shot" for a long time...

 

This season has been a shocker so far and not in a good way. If we continue losing we might as well blow up the team and start over. We gambled on Melo and thought replacing Ariza and Moute with scrubs would work and it hasn't. The worst part is that we are stuck with CP3 who won't even last the entire year. Typically Morey makes some incredible moves but this past offseason I think you have to give him an F, this is ridiculous that we are 1-5. I think we need to give the rockets 5 more games to turn this around and if they don't I think you gotta waive the white flag and make some trades for the future.

 

This was already known. You don't just "Run it Back!" after a season like last year. Should have been obvious but apparently wasn't for many.
