    This team is pathetic. Truly an embarrassing to be a Rockets fan. I expected so much more from CP3.

    You want to punish someone for showing some semblance of chemistry, when it's quite obvious a lack of chemistry is causing huge issues with this team.

    Seems rather moronic.

    Started out 5-1 last year. 1-5 now. How do you reconcile the difference between starts?

    Last year, played well. This year playing like crap. Just not playing well. I don't have a whole lot of answers for you right now. We'll look. Not making shots, not making foul shots, not making layups. Last year we did.

    Searching for an offensive identity?

    A basket every once in awhile would be nice. We're in a struggle, we gotta get out of it. We'll find something. Hopefully it's not too late. We gotta get back on the horse. We gotta get James back, that's a big part of our offense. We let the rope go a little bit then picked it back up. That's all I'm asking: have the spirit until we can figure it out.

    Start of the 2nd half.

    They smacked us a little bit. ... They're a really good team. We won't have a shutout. We're struggling. We got some talkin', lookin', and figuring out to do.

    Quality of shots?

    Foul shots are good shots. We were missing layups, stuff at the rim we preach to get. Again, it's hard to explain sometimes. We lost our swagger, we're on our heels.

    A lot of veterans on this team, is it surprising?

    A little bit but we still have a new group trying to get it together. When you're trying to figure it out & lose a couple guys(Chris, James, Ennis), it makes it tougher. We'll have to get in a room, figure it out. They have to keep their spirit and see if we can play better.

    Couple days of practice but talking about the same stuff?

    Same classic 'We'll score enough points, we gotta stop them.' No, it's all tied together. I can sit up here and talk for the next 5 minutes, we're not playing well. We gotta figure out why & do a better job.

    Early in the season, at what point...

    It's early in the East. It's late if you're in the West. We talk about it. We do have 76 games left. We're still in it mathematically. We gotta play well. Sooner the better. We got a good group of guys. I'm down like everyone else but haven't lost faith. We'll get it done. We gotta get it going.

    Veteran leadership, why this shortcoming?

    We're trying to do new pieces. I don't have all the answers. We gotta work through it. You keep your spirit, go forward, watch film and hang in there. We got a lot of games left, time to grow as a team. If we can turn it around, no one will say anything about the front. It's about the back and you guys tell me it's only about championships... Hang in there with us. We just gotta do a better job.

    (Doing his best Bob O'Brien impersonation) We gotta be better. I gotta be better.

    That game was a train wreck. But, I will say that Clark seems to understand what we do on offense. He was shooting threes when he was open. He drove into the lane and dished the ball to Capela. On offense he was playing the right way in my opinion.

    Melo, on the other hand, doesn't understand his job is to catch and shoot the ball. If he wants to drive past his man, he needs to go to the hoop. The long two point shots just doesn't work. It's not what we do. We take threes. We get layups. We shoot free throws.
