To those who thought Euroleague is inferior to NCAA, I guess they got their answer Knowing this though, even I didn't expect him to shoot so well and put 31 points with sore back and bad conditioning after averaging 35 mpg.
its not even about the fact that hes putting 20-30 pts 8 assists already, its about how he does it.. it looks effortless outhere ....hardenesque
he's pretty legit so far, let's see what happens when he faces the ferocious Houston Rockets defense.
Nope. Nothing happened in Real that would indicate it. But he probably isn't used to teammates playing for their contract, thus making their self interest a priority over team. In yesterday's game, he took only two shots in first half because teammates ignored him. 2nd half was complete opposite, so i guess Carlisle had some strong words during halftime.
I think after 30-40 games or so, new extensive scouting reports on the best rookie players should come out. That's the main reason this 'rookie wall' phenomenon exists. It's going to be fascinating to see how Luka will handle it.
Almost looks as if he’s been playing pro ball for the past couple years lol. I have a feeling we’re going to start seeing a lot more young Ero league players coming over and having a major impact in the nba.
Jeremy Lin had an assist/turnover ratio of 2:1 his rookie year. Guess he is going to be half the player Jeremy has been.
Lin averaged 2.6 ppg in his rookie year. Doncic 20 ppg. That's LeBron/Durant like. Not bad for a fatso!
It depends if they are able to be EuroLeague MVP at age 19. I still think Ayton should be the no 1 pick given his status in PHX but Doncic clearly should have been no 2. Pretty sure Sacramento and Atlanta would like to do a redraft now lol
He is young big men take time. If you look at Capela he couldn't even walk and chew gum at the same time when he was a rookie.
But he wasn't 1st pick either. Ayton and Capela should be judged by different criteria, and rightfully so.
So Jordan had these numbers as a 21y old player. If you set the criteria to 19y old, or even to 20y old, there's...well, noone.
