I figured as much. Eric is being used as tradeable asset to improve the team. We all know it and he knows it. Whether we want him gone or not, he's already playing like it is his time to go. As much as it is cool to hear things from Shams and Woj, I wish things could remain more behind closed doors. These things are chemistry killers!
So if EG "has to" be included. Why hasn't this happened yet? It wouldn't take EG, 4 Picks AND Knight would it? I really hope it ends up as something like EG and 2 (or 3?) picks and Knight for Dieng. Which.. doesn't need to wait until the 30th right?
What's going on here is the Rockets and the Heat are trying to reconstruct a 3-team or 4-5-team deal with Minny.
Holic.....not busting your rubios but just asking..... do you think the Rockets value a couple role players and depth more than bring in JB?
Sure it should happen...but basically the entire Butler trade saga/Minnesota overall has been things that should not happen so far. Shouldn't have ever given Thibs GM/Coach duties shouldn't have given Wiggins the Max shouldn't have stuck with Butler after he met Mark Wahlberg and became too cool shouldn't have had him come to training camp shouldn't have had him come to training camp and destroy the team in practice shouldn't have had him come to training camp and destroy the team in practice and then give an interview about it to Rachel Nichols shouldn't really even have to remember how or why Stephen Jackson fits into all of this etc.
Eric Gordon has not looked good in shooting the 3 pointer, missing layups and on defense he is letting his man have a layup, missing on switches every time. The contract situation and Trade Rumors really has been a distraction for him, he can't mentally fully focus on the game. His facial expression look on his face shows a lot of tension, last year he was relaxed and smiling. The Rockets just seems lost with no identity.
With the addition of DT on the Texans ( JBs good friend) it’ll be an added incentive to JB staying long term
No, they'd rather bring in JB. But.......what they'd rather have over JB would be a couple value role players and depth AND the assets to make another great player transaction at a later date....like after Dec. 15th.
