This is rich coming from the #1 LeBron hater, #1 Kobe stan on Clutchfans. Daddy Kobe is retired so he needs a new daddy in KD.
Lebron is in the same stratosphere as MJ so Durant is not going to pass him up. I think he could be better than Bird, just because he's so dominant offensively. It just depends on what you value more.
I think you guys are secretly obsessed with Kobe & his 5 rings. This a KD/Lebron thread, but somehow you want to discuss Kobe? Lol. Back to topic, KD is the best player in the NBA right now
Weird I think its the other way around where you are so angry and bitter that Kobe isn't in the GOAT discussions.
No we're actually discussing how Kobe's nuts taste, I'm trying to ask you about your personal experiences there.
You said Dr. J could not get ring until he got Moses Malone, but how is that standard when KD signed with already great team. Moreover, I didn't even John Havliceck, he hads more rings than every other great small forward. He was all-round player, like Bird and LeBron. He was a fantastic defender.
Thank you. I was going to post the same thing. The original post was a good post. But they lost me with that comparison. What Durant did was flat out ridiculous. When you join a team that 2 years prior had won the title, then the next year won the most games in a season in the history of the NBA... well it just makes the championships he won a bit hollow. It's just impossible to ignore.
The Cetics were great because Bird was so great (KD is unarguably the more physically talented player). Whatever team LeBron is on is great because LeBron is there. Don't compare this beta male POS to the actual luminaries that led their teams through the battlefield.
KD traded away his ticket to be considered an all time great, the moment he signed the GSW dotted line. It was his decision, and he doesn't seem totally at peace with it by the way he acts. Normally disagree with the consensus media narrative, but on this case, it's impossible to defend KD, even if he did nothing against the rules.
@ScoopB Source says Lakers are interested in a potential Laker team with LeBron, KD and AD next year. Per my source: “The Lakers are gunning for the biggest names. LBJ, KD & AD in LA. It's all part of the plan.” So like I said. If LeBron recruits KD and gets AD, are they now all huge b****es with asterisks titles? Something tells me LBJ gets a pass and gets all the credit for multiple more titles. #GOAT!!1
Davis would get a ton of credit also, the media desperately wants to crown him. Durant would still be a beta male b****, nothing would change in that regard. He signed on for this rep he has, and only has himself to blame. Act like a b****, get treated like a b****. Durant could win 10 titles and it wouldn't mean a damn thing until he leads an unproven group.
In my book, he is slightly better than Bird career wise, should easily overtake him when he finishes his career. As for James, KD is far behind in terms of the impact to the game.
You are free to hold that opinion but its ridiculous to act as if people who dont are brainwashed by narratives. KD joined a championship team (2015) that had just won 73 games (2016) and defeated him in the playoffs. Coming back from a 1-3 deficit no less. Im of the mindset that KD took the easiest route to a title in nba history.
