That would honestly make the efforts more efficient and have less of a negative impact. Maybe a Republican sold Beto's team the software. :D

You're right. With all those ISIS fighters Trudeau is inviting in, the demographics are bound to have changed.

BTW, yes I know Canada has a somewhat sizable Native American/First Peoples population.

It’s not spin. The spin is coming from the lobbyist from the insurance companies and hospitals. Go watch the video it is on YouTube.

BTW, I'm not sure knowledge of the demographics of Canada is so important as to qualify or disqualify anyone from any conversation.

Yeah, I was just playing around. I would have no possible way know if any particular person's vote was changed and would never seriously guess an individual's vote was changed.

I’ve never donated to a campaign. I did donate to Texas campaign for the environment, planned parenthood and some other environmental one but those assholes keep calling over and over and over asking for more and more money. I had to tell them to take me off all their lists and I won’t ever donate to them or anyone again. I think Safe Place a charity for abused women was actually the only one that didn’t bother me over and over again for money. I should give more to them now that I think about it.

Anyhow, It’s probably why they think I’m a Democrat. I guess living in east Austin probably contributes to that too lol. I was inundated with Democrat campaign stuff last week.

thats not where the call/text lists came from. ive never donated money to beto or any dems (the only politician ive ever given money to was a republican) and they are calling and texting me all the time. i obviously put myself on some kind of list, but i definitely never gave money to any dems. its not just the beto people...its all kinds of local and state democratic candidates and people pushing for different bonds. its like they have no idea that they are all constantly calling and harassing the same people with the same bullshit every day. you can tell beto people to take you off list, but an hour later someone from mayor steve adlers campaign is bugging you, then the next day someone pushing for some proposition texts you.

i tell them every single time to take me off the list and im still getting calls/texts. i was polite about it initially, but im very hostile towards them now. i had one very young-sounding chick from beto campaign call me...even after i told her i had already been called multiple times and asked to be taken off the list, told me that she is just trying to "educate" people about beto and how excited she is about him. it felt really disrespectful and condescending, especially after i asked to be taken off the list...i ripped into her pretty good. dont these people understand that they are not helping?

its such a stupid tactic. you are not winning people over...youre just pissing them off.

and in addition to that i am getting multiple emails a day from different conservative groups (im guessing b/c i donated money to a republican about 10 years ago). you unsubscribe from one, but the next day a different one emails. and they are all asking for money, which at least the dems are not doing when they call/text.

    both are pretty f***ing annoying.

I was really hoping one of you guys would be knowledgeable enough to know that this is the last election in Texas where straight party voting is an option....alas I ran into a wall of ignorance.

How’s Chicago and Detroit fairing these days?.

No one party member is perfect, there are many failed republicans, nobody should or would deny that but tendcy is for democrats to take a socialism route these days which in return creates way more debt. Ontop of squandered spending. I would say on average republicans fair better on the economy side. That does not mean that there isn’t successful democrats though and there are some things I would prefer on the democrat side rather then the republican side when it comes to many issues.

Every republican president except Regan has screwed up the economy. Democrats tax and spent republicans just spend which boosts the economy until it crashes.

Okay... I get your a Democrat. You won’t be open minded to anything. You want your party to be successful and that’s all. Your beyond biased here. You can look up just as much insane spending on the democrat side

Also the republican policies of deregulation of the banking industry caused the last cash of the economy. Look at what happened in the 80s with the stock market crash which was caused again by the deregulation this time it was the deregulation of the stock market. It seems like it is the republicans that are the real threat to economy not the Democrats. So tell me again why the right should be more trusted with the economy???

Even Regan had to deal with a pretty solid recession that led him to [GASP] raise taxes. S&L crisis was also on his watch.

Also, Detroit has been recovering for some time from their low points. The city is doing much better than it was...and remains under Democratic leadership.
