D'Antoni thinks his court vision and basketball IQ are excellent, so he's got those things going for him.

Told you guys Airemy is a scrub.

Considering how much of a mental midget he is and has low Bball IQ, not much going for him.

Been saying for a while that he should try something else. He is simply not good at basketball.

Dude is in his 9th year in the league, which is almost double the average length of an NBA career...Mike D’Antoni thinks his B-ball IQ is very high. Yeah, he isn’t good at basketball....lmao!

9 years in the NBA as a scrub.

    Disgraceful & Hilarious!

Airemy fans like to cry racism at any and everything but the ironic thing here is that if Airemy wasnt Asian, he would have been out of the league long time ago.

You know you suck when the Nets of all teams dump you right after you tell the media they are not going to trade you.

Here's a high IQ play and court vision...

    lulz...

Like I have always said. Airemy is just not good at basketball unfortunately.

Let's see what's left if he doesn't even have a first step.

Low IQ mental midget of a player with terrible handles that looks to pad his stats while playing as a guard.

He's shooting 30% and averaging less than 5 points a game.
This is easily his worst year.

His fans have nothing else to say about him, they should just go worship him in peace and leave team sites, all of them.

Yup, his numbers are lower even considering he’s only getting 14 minutes per game. He’s coming back from a major injury and hadn’t played a full game in 18 months, so kudos to him for even getting back to this point. Hoping he’s able to work his way back...and certainly I can’t imagine anyone with a good heart disparaging a player trying to come back after such a devastating injury.

There are lots of players coming back from injury.
Because it’s Jeremy Lin, it’s just magnified as devastating.

Kahwi Leonard had a horrible injury too.
Looks like his old self now

Kudos to Kahwi Leonard, he has certainly come back strong. Amazed that you would compare Lin to one of the NBA’s best players, tho...I suppose this reflects your high opinion of Lin? There are lots of players who come back from injury, and also others who are not able to. Lin has always been an underdog, so I am cheering for him to make it back to where he was.

You can twist my words all you want because you just don't want this thread to end on a low note for Lin.

If you want me to clarify,
there are NBA All stars like Kahwi who are injured who don't have a cult worshipping fans going on every team site to invoke sympathy for their hero.
Lin is just now just a bench player, but even worse, a bench player on the Hawks.

The biggest enemy for Lin is he's becoming irrelevant on the court.

How did I twist your words? Did you not compare Lin to Kawhi Leonard?

I know plenty of basketball fans who worship Kawhi Leonard. Personally, I think he is an amazing player.

I agree that Lin is becoming irrelevant on the court. Am still hoping he can turn it around. But please note that I didn’t post in this thread this season until others started posting about him. So not sure where you are getting that I’m going around trying to drum up sympathy for him. You guys were talking about him and I joined he discussion.

Thinking more about this and wanted to look at a couple of other NBA players who had significant injury and missed a ton of time last year to see how they are doing this year. Patrick Beverley (a Houston fan favorite) missed the majority of last season...he's back starting this season, but his numbers are low across the board, shooting 31% (24% from 3), 5.9ppg, etc...numbers actually very similar to Lin this year so far (except Beverley has been playing more minutes). Gordon Hayward has been ok, but he's got career-low numbers in a lot of his offense. Isiaih Thomas is still recovering and hasn't even played a minute this season. And I'm pretty sure none of these guys' injuries were nearly as devastating as Lin's ruptured patella, in addition to missing nearly 50 games the previous season because of his hamstring as well.

So Kahwi Leonard is more the exception than the rule. He is an amazing player. Guys like Lin, Beverley, Hayward and Thomas would all be honored to be compared to Kahwi. Hopefully they all are able to recover fully from their injuries in the coming year.

so everyone should just miss shots intentionally and not try to avoid being called 'stat padding' in garbage time right?

Ironically he has tunnel vision, at least when he was on the Rox thats why he kept making boneheaded mistakes like thriwing the ball away.

Lin's biggest weakness though is his health, he always gets injured which sets back all his progress.

Yeah, I guess D'Antoni doesn't know what he's talking about. Steve Clifford and Kenny Atkinson, too.

Can't argue about the health thing. Early in his career, he missed very few games, but the last two have been disastrous from a health perspective. Hoping he can work his way back this season to full strength.
