It was her show. Maybe she could've formed a better panel and with a tone for that discussion rather than keeping her attitude of "it's only my opinion and I have a right to express it" regardless of other people's reactions. The latter got her in trouble plenty times.
You cherry pick the stats that allow you to accept your bias. If blacks were more violent why are Africans so much less violent??? It makes no sense to say race is the factor leading to violence when there is no genetic study to point to blacks being more violent. It's just a convenient way for you to be a racist. You need to take a hard look at yourself and really question what you think. I haven't even called white men evil, you need to make that up because that's the only way you can maintain your delusion - by accusing other people of thinking ridiculous things. Wake up dude. I'm not calling you a racist, you are saying racist things and not realising it. Look most people who are racist don't realize it. There's nothing inherently wrong with disliking a group of people. It doesn't make you evil to be a racist any more than it makes someone evil to dislike blondes or dislike people with big noses. Just means you are biased. What would make you worse is if you acted on those biases. To my knowledge you haven't so I don't judge you. But I'm not going to sugar coat things here either. You seem to be an intelligent man, you're certainly not stupid, but you are definitely racist.
Too bad he now looks like Hermann Goering, Jesus that's right out of the World Book entry. Somebody check the bailiff for cyanide caps.
the woman dressing up like diana ross wasn't offensive. black face obviously has a negative intention. i'm not a kelly fan but she was right
Here are some more stats. Let's look at the top. Q: Who was in control and in charge of the United States during the dark hour of slavery? A: White males Q: Who was committing genocide and breaking treaty after treaty of the Native American tribes during the 18th and 19th century? A: White males Q: Who was in control and running things during the worker oppression of the Industrial Robber Baron era? A: White males Q: Who was in charge during the Great Depression? A: White males Q: Who was in charge and running things during the Jim Crow period? A: White males. Q: Who was in charge and running things during the Vietnam War? A: White males Q: Who was in charge and running things during the gas shortage and inflation of the 70s? A: White males Q: Who was in charge and running things during the Iraq War? A: White males Q: Who was in charge and running things during the real estate crash and great recession? A: White males Those are just the stats. It isn't a hatred of white males. The white males just need to look in the mirror and hopefully fix the problems.
Dressing up like diana ross isn't blackface. Kelly screwed up in thinking blackface meant dressing up like a black person.
Lol, what? This is about the community of African Americans... not "blacks". Immugrants from Africa are often model immigrants and look down on African American culture. Stop trying so hard to make me seem like a hateful racist, that stat is exclusive to African Americans and you cant deal with the truth. Speak up about violence and toxic masculinity in your community, and make celebs like kanye and jay z do the same if you actually want change. MLK agrees with me , because he genuinely wants change. Something anthem kneeling wont change.
Who cares? You are trying too hard. If you want change, you cant let the past weigh you down. It's 2018 .. have to address community attitudes towards violence and toxic masculinity if you want the "other side" to see you in a different light. That creates more opportunities and greater relinquishing of power.
Listening to hip hop doesn't make you violent. More white people listen to hip hop than black people. Why do you think blacks are more violent? Forget about your statistics - are you saying its the music? Where do you think this toxic masculinity comes from?
Let's start with this: Do you think poverty (when you still have enough to eat) justifies violent criminal behavior? Do you think it affects generationally poor blacks more than generationally poor whites?
I can't stand Kelly's and her ignorance or the SJCrybabies who reacted predictably so not sure how I feel. I guess I stand by what I've always said, I'm happy when people who are ignorant, discriminate, racist, etc... publicly. I'd rather know how people really feel and they do me a favor when they go public. My fear has always been the SJCrybabies will make those folks more cautious making it harder for the rest of us to know who walks among us.
Why aren't white males making the change then? Is it because white males don't want the change and are just letting the past drag them down? It's 2018. There is no reason why white males should still be making the same horrible decisions that lead to the worst periods in the history of our nation. If the white males want the "other side" to see them in a different light they will have to make a change.
Affirmative action, diversity quotas, awareness training etc. are among a number of measures have been put in to place by "white males". Is it enough? No, but crime stats across the board aren't going down. And the things special interest groups are complaining about have no relevance to the core issues plaguing the community today... they come across as needing to be angry despite a wealth of opportunity at their disposal. You need to have an intelligent approach to dealing with this problem.. there is a reason MLK preached non violence. Change will always be limited with staggering disproportions of violence, no matter what marketing gimmicks come and go. Until the community addresses this instead of looking for excuses , it's going to be the same old story.
Nothing justifies violence outside of self-defense, but that doesn't mean violence stems from genetics either. Let's keep in mind that poverty amongst whites is spread out, poor whites are more likely to live in mixed areas where they can receive support, where as poor blacks live amongst other poor blacks and get far less support. That makes a huge difference but people like you ignore that. In fact, conservatives actively work to fight against zoning laws that would decentralize poverty especially amongst blacks. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...poverty/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.aee7927f57da
Who are the social justice crybabies? Black people? Al Roker? The Network? Just curious because I don't think she was fired for any reason other than the fact that advertisers pulled their dollars from her show. I mean the reality is that no brand is going to want to associate itself with someone who says something really offensive unless it's a brand like Nike which thrives off it. So are you calling the corporations who don't want to advertise on her show the SJCrybabies? Fact is her show was in trouble, her ratings weren't good, and it was a bad fit. This was the piano that broke the camel's back. You didn't even have time for the SJW to have a chance to speak out. Does not knowing the difference between blackface and dressing up as Diana Ross make you a bad person? No. Does it disqualify you from having a high-profile media job? Yes. I mean, part of being in the media is not being ignorant about culture and history. Megyn Kelly clearly is.
Her ratings have not been good at NBC. Like Kaepernick, it’s a lot easier to exclude a person for off-field reasons when the on-field performance have not been great.
Th panel for one, along with the Twitter crybabies who made it go viral. This was a teachable moment for an ignorant but not racist person. Instead no teaching, only frontier judgment and execution. That approach can turn ignorant into full blown racist for some. Also that term racist is so misused by these sjcrybabies which is a very unfortunate. The word shouldn't be "back or white" if you want progress.
The panel? They didn't call her a racist. They barely said enough. What are you crying about? And Twitter? Who da F cares what was said on Twitter? That's what you are crying about? Sounds like you just want to cry and complain about anything. What happened here was that Kelly is stupid in that she has no clue what blackface is. She is still stupid, because if she was smart she would have said, "OMG, I didn't realize dressing up for Diana Ross for Halloween wasn't blackface and that blackface referred to things like Amos and Andy" That's why her apology was so half-hearted, she didn't even realize what she was confused about.
You go on about this crap in every other thread man... This isn't a thread about black crime, yet here you are, bringing it up AGAIN. You care about it so much then DO something about it. There are hundreds of organizations in this nation that you can join and volunteer. Again, if you care about it so much then actually do something about it. Over and over and over again, in nearly every thread that has anything to do with racial relations and black people, you bring this up. You are the one bringing up excuses. This is your excuse to dodge out of discussing this issue and instead to try and shift the conversation onto something else that isn't relevant to the topic at all. Stop bringing MLK up in your posts, saying things like "MLK agrees with me." MLK is dead. This doesn't strengthen your point. The reason people are calling you racist is because these are the same 'stats' that literal racists use to perpetuate racial division and animosity. "See those blacks? They are just criminals! They are killers!" giving you an excuse to stereotype and giving you an excuse for your prejudice. They ignore the fact that the murderers account for 1% of the black population, therefore, nearly every black person you meet isn't out to kill you or steal from you. Sorry to burst your narrative. I mean dude, you literally came into this thread, ignored the topic, and immediately went to... WTF? I could have just as well said that men account for my violent crimes and we need to do something about toxic masculinity and it'd literally be the same thing. Anyways, since you trust the Washington post, here's something for you to read. I'll keep posting this until I find one of you actually willing to read it and take it in. The last guy I posted this article at literally told me to 'stop' and then blocked me and claimed I was going 'down the rabbithole'. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...e-proof/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.2cef69dfa6b1
