Not gonna lie. The whole summer I was stress free and enjoying life. Basketball season returns and I’m stressed out again. Smh

I hope so. It's the injury proneness that worries me. Yeah, injuries happen, but he had them almost every month, and so him staying healthy throughout the playoffs was unlikely. My point was all the players we gave up and all the money tied into him. I just hope we can win one with him, but until we do I can't help questioning if it was all worth it. If he can stay healthy, then I will be more onboard.

We allowed them 39 in the 2nd and 37 in the 4th.

    Just...just....

Yeah, I hear ya. I was so excited in preseason, especially with our dismal Texans start. Now the tables have turned and the Texans are more fun to watch than the Rockets. Let'ts just hope the fun starts sooner than later with the Rockets. Gotta believe!

Little bit off topic but the bucks and the piston are undefeated, I know it's only the 5th game but this is really depressing

You sound very young and naive. I will show you that clip of Mda, he prioritizes defense 45 mins a practice. That's how much I do it for 9 year olds at the recreational level

First of all, if you wish to have an exchange with me, i would appreciate it if you would refrain from personal attacks... I'm a 48 year old man (and far from naive) so i would thank you not to throw such barbs...

Secondly, I have no clue what you are trying to say with the rest of your comments...
Are you saying that he does prioritize defense bc he devotes 45 minutes to it - as one would children on a recreational level? If that is the case, based on what I'm seeing - perhaps he should push it to a full hour or more...

To be blunt, guys that were here last year dont seem to be playing nearly as hard on defense as they were last year... guys aren't getting out and getting a hand up in the face, guys aren't hustlin, they are getting blown by and oftentimes they're not even trying to recover and get back in the play or get a block from behind... it's looking like turnstile defense to me... as if there are no repercussions for lackluster d
Why were they hustlin last year and not so much this year? I'm not talking defensive schemes - i'm talking effort...

That was a clip from when he was with the Lakers man, you sound naive when you say you know how much puts into defense, though this is probably the worst time to defend that though LOOOOOL.

You guys have a funny way of looking at things. The Rockets are off to a horrible start and you can either go into denial or be angry about it or you could choose to have a sense of humor about it. Especially since all the mighty smart people who said Ennis is three times better than Ariza look totally stupid right now.The idea that mcw, melo, ennis, and hatensteen would work PLAYING MORE THAN GARBAGE MINUTES (HORRIBLE THOUGHT) was always ridiculous. getting flamed for saying so before the fact was frustrating when it seemed plain as day to me. So yes I find this season hilarious. At the end of the day I'm a Rockets fan but im always gonna be truthful about how they are playing and what I see. im a no bullshit type of guy. the rockets are ****ed and I think its hilarious because its due to the sheer arrogance of the coaches, staff, players and a bunch of fans on here. Im waiting to see if Morey has the guts to do what needs to be done before its too late. The scrubs have to either be traded away or receive a big reduction in minutes.

Lol. Nobody is personally attacking you. I'm referring to your basketball brain. Lol.

Well golly gee, that's certainly a different thing altogether... when you say i sound 'young and naive' you're not attacking me - you're just referring to my 'basketball brain'... how could I take that as a personal attack... smh...

i aint twisted on it or nothin, man - just letting you know how it comes across...

Now if you have any insights into MDA's devotion to, and enforcement of, a focused defensive effort on the part of our players... I'll be happy to address it tomorrow. :)

He was blowing them last year too. And after his every mistake he throws his hands around and complains to refs. Its so embarassing

They have thrown the alternative out of the window. Cap space, younger top talents, higher draft picks.

Can still work but there is no wiggle room if Paul breaks down prematurely.
